I am going crazy. Since today is historically the day they would start the mass emails, I keep checking this forum every hour to see if anyone has heard anything. Based on peoples posts here, it seems like they U.S. mail rejections and email interview requests. Is this the case with round 2 WL's as well, that is, people being kept on the reserve group? I asked admissions on the phone if they do rejections via U.S. mail, and their responses was "We do e-mail or regular mail to communicate decisions." I think she got the feeling I was trying to feel out if a lack of an email interview invite implies a likely rejection following in paper mail shortly, so she said both. Where is everyone deposited/going if you don't make it off the waitlist? Good luck to everyone!

Yea, the general consensus from what I read is email: good news (interview req/second reserve), snail mail: bad news (rejection). Good luck to everyone, I wish we could all get in bc everyone on this thread seems really cool. Heart is set on Columbia, also WL at Vandy. Gonna reapply if things don't work out

I'm hoping they do but I'm not entirely sure. Wondering what stats everyone had. Also wondering if anyone got an interview request. Is it crazy if I call and ask what my status is? Lol

I'm interpreting this as a funnel for the summer. If you're dinged, it's over (obvi, haha). If you get second reserve, you may be interviewed-->drafted later in the summer, and if you're invited to interview today (or soon), you're immediately being considered for spots that are open.

Maybe you should call also just to have someone else ask! Because the lady was trying not to answer the question so I'd feel better if someone just double confirmed it!

Said the same thing to me. She said they don't get all sent out at once. Then she said everyone should know their status within the next two weeks, which was the most annoying thing ever lol

No email here, which is not surprising. Assuming ding is in the mail already for arrival next week, which is certainly consistent with the "Everyone should know their status in 2 weeks" statement above.

In the past, not getting a 2nd Reserve email meant ding. Before the 2nd reserve email, interview requests had gone out. Has no one gotten an interview request? That could mean they're going out of order this year.
