Thanks, people! Hope to be as pleasantly surprised as you both were. I don't think Emory will offer me what WUSTL did, but it's high on my list nevertheless.

+10000000 was told I will be receiving a scholarship, but wasn't told the amount. I'm basically in a state of limbo while I wait to see if the Emory money will affect my negotiations with other schools

There's been movement at Emory via LSN. Maybe I'll have an admission packet this weekend.

Package today, about what I expected. I don't think they give hard splitters any more than ~120. Here's hoping they're open to negotiation...bitter_melon wrote:Emory offered me more than what WUSTL did, so who knows.littlekidlover wrote:Thanks, people! I'm an AJD applicant as well and was admitted last month.. I don't think too many places offer this course. Of the few that I know there's Northwestern and University of Iowa. PM me if you want more details..Gingerella wrote:Accepted at the end of January. Do you guys (I mean, other AJD applicants )) have other options for AJD?jadedlaw wrote:Any AJD applicants ?

Yeah, this is ridiculous. By far the longest wait of any school after being told I would get a scholarship - after waiting a long time with no status checker before that.atlantahoo wrote:BoyJord wrote:Getting accepted is not complete relief. I think spring break is next week, I assume we won't hear anything back until the following week, excluding acceptances already en route.

Not going to lie...Emory's not having a status checker and their not getting back to us since forever might hurt their yield. I was very high on Emory in October but the radio silence gave me time to set my heart on a higher ranked school that accepted me months ago AND gave me scholly.

It was specified on many of our letters that we were, indeed, being awarded merit scholarships, and that we would get the numbers *by* mid-March.bitter_melon wrote:I got my scholarship with my acceptance letter. Those of you waiting on numbers... maybe you just didn't get anything?

I'm an ADJ applicant, but sent my apps way too late in the process. No response yet. Did you guys get the acceptance by mail or by e-mail? And do you mind sharing your stats? (LSAC evaluation GPA, Toefl, WE, etc.)JDrat wrote:I'm an AJD applicant as well and was admitted last month.. I don't think too many places offer this course. USC also offers a 2YJD for Intl Lawyers. Did you guys take the LSAT? Most AJD programs require it. Emory is one of the few that doesn't.

I'm part of this group. Still waiting on my award. Has anyone received theirs yet?Wellthen wrote:It was specified on many of our letters that we were, indeed, being awarded merit scholarships, and that we would get the numbers *by* mid-March.bitter_melon wrote:I got my scholarship with my acceptance letter. It might be a scramble right now due to all the recruitment events and alum events this coming week (or is it next week)? Idk.dbalkaran wrote:Has anyone heard anything from Emory? It's been radio silence since getting that email a few weeks ago that my application was still under review...
