Do we know if those who were not offered scholarships with their acceptance letter generally receive less money? I just find it so strange that they tell some upfront and make others wait... but then again nothing about this process makes particular sense.

For all of the worriers if you didn't receive a scholarship letter it could be because you applied for the Woodruff Fellowship (like I did) so you won't be getting $$$ until they decide that. So I guess if you applied but didn't get it then you'll find out an alternate amount that you'd be getting then too?

Seemed like a weird way to go, especially considering my letter seemed firm that I was receiving a scholarship by the 3/15 - not the standard 'All scholarship decisions will be released by ____'

Checking in. I applied 1/16 and got the email saying my app was complete on 1/17. This may be the only school that I applied where I wasn't either a reverse splitter or over both 75th percentiles- ha! (161/3.85)

Does anyone know if Emory will pay for expenses to attend ASD?

It seems... unlikely, but I don't think it hurts to ask :) Waiting for an actual acceptance before I ask, though.

I got my acceptance yesterday and was searching through the packet to find any info about that, but it was not included lol.

There was a flyer about paying for the hotel, but I didn't see anything related to travel costs.

I just received an email that they were sending our their first wave of invitations to join the Class of 2020 and then below was scholarship opportunities. Has anyone else received this email and also been accepted? I have yet to be accepted and sent in my app on the 10th. Do you receive acceptances in the mail or via email?

I got this email as well but mine said "Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were memorable and restful. The spring semester has begun here at Emory Law, and we have started sending out our first wave of invitations to join the Class of 2020. You have spent valuable time crafting the perfect application, and we feel a strong obligation to provide you a comprehensive and deliberate review. I sincerely appreciate your patience.

Below are some scholarship opportunities you may want to explore and some stories about our community. If there is anything we can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to reach me at jdadmission@emory.edu. I look forward to seeing you in person soon."

The I look forward to seeing you in person is making me excited that I may have been accepted.

Though, " I look forward to seeing you in person soon." sounds strange if they're rejecting me soo....LOL #confuzed
