Checking in as well, although I'm applying to the AJD program.
Did any of you guys write a "why Emory" addendum?

-1 I actually like that they don't provide status checker. The wait is much easier this way.elcamino4 wrote:+4Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:+3brinicolec wrote:+2Long shot hero wrote:+1taxman14 wrote:Hate that they don't have a status checker ugh

All my other apps have a status checker. I like to be able to at least know that they have my stuff and/or are looking at my stuff lolcd1945 wrote:-1 I actually like that they don't provide status checker. Emory does send you a note when they have all your stuff tho. And some schools' status checkers don't change much at all, namely W&M (Blank even after decision made), UNC (stays complete until decision made). In my count with or without status checker, it takes the same amount of time to hear back from schools; thus I'd rather save some meaningful minutes from incessant checking.brinicolec wrote:All my other apps have a status checker. Nonetheless, I do check them everyday. FML.

Checking in. At first I hated that there isn't a status checker, but now I don't mind... I actually forget that I've applied sometimes because I'm not incessantly checking (which is definitely a good thing... for my sanity).

Unless you're early decision, I think Emory typically starts releasing decisions in late January/early February.raeofsunshine wrote:Does anyone know around what time last years applicants heard?

Just got a letter from the managing partner at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan encouraging me to apply to Emory. Thought it was a little strange cause I only ever got these types of letters from the law schools themselves and not the alumni.
