164 LSAT 3.1 GPA. While I knew that my GPA would be a limiting factor I did expect more based on other, similarly ranked schools, offers.amta wrote:stats?Acrobatic Fox wrote:Accepted via email 1/10/2017. Out of State scholarship of $82,500 over 3 years.

Got a package in the mail from Maurer. It's a power bank with the logo and name of the school, and a letter with two messages referencing energy and powering up. It looks nice, but the full ride has already tempted me to attend there

70% scholarship with a 165. Also was hoping for more based on rival offers and their general liberalness with aid.Acrobatic Fox wrote:164 LSAT 3.1 GPA. Accepted 164/3.79 with a full-ride out of state scholarship. Strong softs (summa cum laude from a highly ranked UG). Thinking of taking a trip up to visit, though I've also got a good offer from UGA (which is in-state for me).

165/3.73 (it went up after this semester though from a 3.67). I got 127,500. Is that good for my numbers or do I have some grounds to negotiate a little? I want to get IU up as high as I can because I have a full ride from UIUC and Iowa, and 100k from Minnesotta that I want to bring to Notre Dame for negotiations in February. I don't want to be an ass if 127,500 is already a good offer for my numbers though.

Re: Indiana - Maurer Law C/o 2020
Those of you who plan to attend Maurer, where do you plan to work after you graduate?
I know a lot of graduates leave Indiana, but I can't stop thinking that it will be difficult for me to return to Houston if I wanted to once I graduate. Houston has a big legal market, but I will have to compete against grads from the University of Houston and Texas who have a lot of alumni in the city, plus all the other grads from t14 who are returning home.
I don't mind starting my career in the Midwest (I lived there for most of my life), but I think I'd rather start it near my family. I really want to go to IU, but I feel like if I want to work in Houston, I'm going to have to go to UH.

I submitted my application on 1/9 and it has been in a "completed - ready for review" state ever since. Do they change it to "in review" once they are actually looking at it? Or is it one of those deals that it all changes at once?

Re: Indiana - Maurer Law C/o 2020
Mine has been "in review" since mid-November. Was "complete - ready for review" for about three weeks prior to that. In my mind, status changes don't seem to indicate much, unless someone else has some behind the scenes info (specific to IU) to the contrary they can share on here. I am a 25/75 splitter at this school.templehayden wrote:I submitted my application on 1/9 and it has been in a "completed - ready for review" state ever since.
