Make sure you negotiate guys. I got upped from $127,500 to Full tuition after negotiating (165/3.7x). That DEFINITELY put Indiana on my short list of considered schools.

Congrats! What school(s) did you negotiate with?

I actually didn't have to use any schools to negotiate with. I just said I would like to talk about my scholarship and that I "wanted to make sure I'm making the smartest fiscal decision for my future" - I got a call from an admissions director saying it was unusual that I didn't have a full ride and that I had one now. Just goes to show that just taking the time to write an email can pay huge dividends.

Anyone going to the Admitted Student Day this weekend who wants to share a Lyft or something with me? I arrive in Indianapolis 2:26 PM on Friday, and my flight out is 5:45 PM Sunday. If someone wants to split either ride with me, let me know!

I know there are shuttle options, but they only run every two hours and seem pretty inconvenient.

I signed up for them but realized I won't make the Con Law class. For sure going to Nick's, though, and the breakfast if I'm not out too late haha

I am renting a car for the weekend. Im getting there around 9 am tomorrow (friday morning) and would be absolutely delighted to carpool with anyone, so hit me up! I am flying out at like 6:30 on Sunday but planning to get to the airport a bit early.

Is anyone staying at the Hilton garden inn? Do they charge my card for the two nights and then the school reimburses me, or is the school covering it?

I understood it as we can stay there, but they deduct the nights from our reimbursement total. I already have a room booked there, but I want to check in before I fly tomorrow.

edit: fixed wording

I am dumb and didn't purchase my shuttle ticket ahead of time. I tried to buy it a few minutes ago and it says it's too late to order online for tickets for tomorrow. I highly doubt the shuttle will be full at an evening departure, but if it is I might have to wait at the airport for an additional two hours for the next shuttle to my hotel, or take a different shuttle and walk to my hotel from the campus at 10:00pm.

Edit: found a different shuttle company that will take my money.

For those who attended Asd today, what did you guys think? I attended and wasn't really struck by anything. Well, one thing. Greg Canada is a terribly handsome man.

I don't know how I feel. I liked it, but I didn't get that"feeling" that everyone on the panels said they got.

I feel the same. I think the campus looks beautiful and that Bloomington is awesome. The students here are really nice and cool. I had lunch with my admission fellow and with 1ls.

I'm impressed really but that might be because of the college town feel and architecture of the school.

Currently sitting at a bar that my admission fellow is hosting a trivia night at. Getting a good vibe from this school but it might be the alcohol.
