There's going to be other open house events, right?

Because I think it's a bit early in the cycle for me to go to this one, but...

I had a group interview last week but haven't heard back. So I tried the "no password" option at ASW to see if I got in and received an email with username and password but it keeps saying that the combination is not valid... does this mean that I am in or not?

How useful is attending an open house in regards to making a decision? I've never been to DC before, so this is probably a necessary trip regardless haha.

Also, is ASW something different than the open house, or is that essentially the same thing?

visiting is probably the best thing you can do when choosing between schools (I'm just repeating the TLS consensus on this)

If scholarship money and ranking are relatively equal, then getting a feel for the school and the city is pretty important tbh. DC in the spring would be better time to visit if you have to choose between ASW and Open House.

DC in the cherry blossom season is like a dream, especially in the dusk...

Received my acceptance today via snail mail. My stats are 166, 3.83. Did a group interview with Andy on 11/29. Didn't feel like I made an impression at the interview but definitely didn't hurt myself. Happy to answer any questions.

So ASW is different than the open house? I'd rather go to ASW (I think?)

Submitted application 11/23, accepted via snail mail 12/10!! Was not contacted for an interview but did get a personal note from Andy written on my acceptance letter so that was cool.

Yes. I was deferred from ED on 10/28 and received a waitlist email on 12/8.

Has anyone been asked to apply for the public interest law scholars program? Online it says the admissions committee asks admitted students to apply, or is this something that will come later on?

I applied on 11/20 with a 175; 25 < GPA < 50 and radio silence so far. Seems most people are having much quicker turnarounds with GULC. Didn't write a Why Georgetown. Should I assume WL?

Was just looking back through the thread to try to figure out if most of those accepted so far had interviewed one way or another?
The group one sounds interesting.

I was offered an alumni interview but had to decline. Was accepted a week or two after declining. (LSAT > 75th GPA <25th)
