I went complete last week and didn't attach a Why Vandy, and I'm kind of wishing I had. Do you think it would be weird if I emailed one to them tonight and asked to have it added to my file?

How much did I disadvantage myself by not signing up for an interview?

Got in via mail.

167, Superior, international.

Applied on 1/5. Interviewed on 12/19.

I was actually thinking of applying for the VLS merit schol program. I was working on it while I got the acceptance mail. Do you think I can apply for it now? Or would it be odd? Kicking myself for not applying earlier.

I'm sure you can, but deadline for regular consideration was 1/16

I see. on the website it said soft deadline is 1/10 with a grace period of 7 to 10 days. :/

So originally it was 1/10. They sent out an email saying regular decision was pushed back to 1/16.

Might as well go ahead and send one right? What's the worst that can happen? They say no? It puts you in the same place you are right now.

Yep, going ahead anyway. I am fearing they don't see me as an opportunist and therefore cut down on my eventual schol money.

I know right? Obiter (sp?) Dictum has been an excellent read so far (at least the 20 pages I got to skim through before work).

I skimmed through about 50 pgs or so. Stopped once I got to the housing info, which I'm sure is very useful. I wish all schools had a thorough housing breakdown lol

Yeah, not sure what to do with it.

The Obiter Dictum is pretty badass though. I've already got a list of places to visit now for ASD thanks to it.

I'm in the same boat. All this hype about the black box is making me want to be accepted even more though!

If it makes you feel any better, I sent mine in today. The application does say that they'll consider applications after that date. Worst that can happen is you don't get one.
