This isn't very important, but help is appreciated nonetheless!

After you log in, click Tracking, then under Package, Envelope, or Express Freight, there is Access FedEx Delivery Manger. Once you click that, it should show you if a package is on its way.

Vanderbilt isn't exactly in my reach, so I most likely will be getting a WL or rejection from them. Does anyone know if they send them via email? Or does the status checker ever change once you've been given a decision?

I'm assuming there's no tracking number? If there's no tracking number, you might have to try calling versus using their website because I just skimmed the tracking area of the website and I'm not seeing anything for stuff other than tracking numbers or reference numbers.

Still no interview, sent an email today since it's been exactly 2 weeks.

It's been about a week for me with no interview info. Maybe the holidays delayed things for you.

I finally got my interview scheduled! I requested mine sometime back in October when I submitted. So I'm pretty excited to get this over with and have my application reviewed.

In via email at 4:10 p.m. VERY anticlimactic. The wording of the acceptance email is weird too; "Your application to Vanderbilt Law School has been accepted..."

Anyway. YAY!

Thanks, y'all! :)

Also - LSAT > 75th; 25th > GPA > 50th

It's pretty difficult to herd lawyers, especially busy ones. They do their best to walk the line between hounding interviewers (which would turn us off and cause most people to just stop) and letting us take our time. After 1 or 2 interviews, it's hard to come up with something unique to say, but at the same time you really want to give everyone their best shot at getting in. If we were rushed we'd probably submit worse evals. All in all I think having to wait an extra three weeks is probably better than if things were run as if time is of the essence. It's not even Christmas yet, time is not of the essence here.

Also, if you were that "OMG I NEED TO KNOW IF I AM IN HERE OR NOT THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE #1" then go to campus and interview with an admissions person

Other schools that conduct interviews seem to have a better process. It's not about timing, it's about the efficiency of their process as a whole. People commented earlier that they requested interviews in October. It is November 29th.

I really hope you don't pick a school based on interviewing efficiency. Also (genuinely curious) do other schools DO alumni interviews or only admissions personnel interviews?

I'm not commenting on how I pick a school. I am saying their alumni interview process seems relatively cumbersome for all involved. Most schools do interviews with admissions personnel. The idea is great, the execution is 'meh.'

Chicago does admissions personnel interviews, I'm not sure about anywhere else. Don't think most places require interviews.
