I met one person from the site and the Dean of Admissions remembered my app! He talked to me about my softs. He also told me that USC doesn''t believe in Low balling they try to give the best offer off the bat.

Finally in review! Had applied 5th Jan. One of my top choices and certainly the most refreshed status checker for me.

It really is. Although I did get dirty looks wearing it at the gym because it's somewhat of a rival sportsgame team.somedeadman wrote:The t-shirt is pretty sick

Is there a proper form to fill out for scholly reconsideration or do I just send an email to the email in the scholly letter with other offers?

I sent one in yesterday. I put the reasons why I am asking for more. Why I want to attend and attached my other offers.lawlzschool wrote:+1 and has anyone tried yet? i've drafted the email but am sort of hesitant to send now as it still seems early (but damnit im not patient)Torres1893 wrote:Is there a proper form to fill out for scholly reconsideration or do I just send an email to the email in the scholly letter with other offers?

Re: USC c/o 2020 Applicants Thread (2016-2017)
I sent a reconsideration email on Thursday (no official form, just my request with my other offers attached). The director of financial aid emailed back saying, "I expect that we will begin our review of scholarship appeals over the next week or so." I think it's about time.lawlzschool wrote:+1 and has anyone tried yet? i've drafted the email but am sort of hesitant to send now as it still seems early (but damnit im not patient)Torres1893 wrote:Is there a proper form to fill out for scholly reconsideration or do I just send an email to the email in the scholly letter with other offers?

Not early, but considering this seemingly unique sluggish cycle, I'd say it's especially not early! Would advise to send in soon.lawlzschool wrote:+1 and has anyone tried yet? i've drafted the email but am sort of hesitant to send now as it still seems early (but damnit im not patient)Torres1893 wrote:Is there a proper form to fill out for scholly reconsideration or do I just send an email to the email in the scholly letter with other offers?

Re: USC c/o 2020 Applicants Thread (2016-2017)
are any of you trying to negotiate up from USC's top tier of non-Rothman scholarships, 157.5k? I was wondering if that is even a worthwhile endeavor
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
