168 LSAT? I would definitely send them a quick email inquiring about an interview opportunity. People with similar stats (non-URM) have been accepted with $$$. I've heard success stories about people asking for an interview and getting a request the next day. Good luck!!

My LSAT isn't quite 168, but it's close, should have been more specific! But thank you, I'll inquire!

I could be wrong, but it seems like they haven't sent interview requests to people who are below 168 with lower GPAs yet. I've been waiting with a 167 since early December and haven't heard anything from them.

Fair point. I'll hold off a little while longer, but the silence is driving me nuts. Thanks y'all

I'm personally afraid of shaking the trees and inspiring them to hurry up and send me a rejection. haha

Did anyone else's interviewer never get back to you when they said they would? Even after you sent them an email? I'm definitely worried that is a bad sign even though I thought the interview went really well and I have the numbers to get in.

Same, I always imagine that the minute they get off the phone, they'll give me an Evil Asterisk reserved for the impatient/neurotic applicants or something lol

Thank you everyone for the helpful information in this thread. I did not read through the entire thread so I apologize if this information is repeated.

For those who were accepted: After the initial acceptance email, did you receive any follow up (an admitted students portal, scholarship information). Also, I read through portions of this thread and noticed that scholarship information is sent after initial acceptance (anywhere from 2 days to 2 months). Do you think there is any harm in sending an email inquiring about scholarship info/negotiating before the initial offer, particularly if one received a large scholarship from a comp school?

Is there a consensus on what a long waiting period between interview and admissions means? I have decent numbers and I think my interview went off well, but it has been 10 days and I have yet to hear anything. Good/Bad/Neutral sign?

I believe the consensus is it can be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. I wouldn't worry.

I interviewed nearly three months ago and still havent heard back haha. Numbers are competitive... between 25th and 50th LSAT and >75th GPA. Plus the woman who interviewed me said that she was giving me a great recommendation. So yeah... could be awhile :/

It depends! I've seen some people with amazing numbers who waited months. I personally waited around 2 and a half weeks for admission after interview and then another month for scholarship information.

That's not even that long haha
I applied first week of November and only received my interview request at the end of last week. There's hope!

If you look at the graph on LSN, WashU's admissions strategy up to this point is pretty transparent - 168+ or 3.7+(with over 160) and you're in.

Now where does that leave me at a 3.5 167? One question away from a near full ride I guess.

If I wouldn't have changed any of my answers I would have gained 2 points.... It's the worst feeling in the world. No joke, I changed 6 answers, 4 from the right answer to a wrong one and 2 from wrong to right. Lots of points left on the board between those 6 questions

And if you left work a minute later then you would have died in that car accident... Can't think like this! :P

Literally the exact same as me. Same numbers, interviewed 3 months ago, and the interviewer said she was giving me a great recommendation. I'm worried I bombed the interview or something.

I've got a 3.85 and 161 and haven't heard back almost 2 weeks post-interview despite the interviewer saying that she was very impressed with my softs. It may not be as obvious as MyLSN leads us to believe.

Wahwah cry about it. I chose to eat half of a White Castle Crave Case for dinner the night before and 2 Taco Bell Breakfest Crunchwraps the morning of the LSAT. I probably could've scored 16 points higher if I didn't leave in the middle of Section 2 to take the most epic dump ever. Do you see me complaining? No. Because it was worth it.

Lol I planned my diet and fluid intake for the full week leading up to my last 2 tests because on the first test I had to go to the bathroom the entire time

Haha no I'm on the same boat. I rly had to go to the bathroom during my first take as soon as the proctor closed the door and was reading directions. The entire time before the break, I was questioning whether law school was really worth it haha

I got in today! LSAT > 50 GPA=50ish

When should I expect to hear back about scholarship information?

I'm so excited to visit the school. I have a friend who goes to the business school there and she said it's absolutely gorgeous.

Anyone have any success stories with scholarship negotiation yet?

I got in back in January and the scholarship information was sent about three weeks later. $114k. I have a full ride to UMN and SLU, with basically a full ride to Iowa (one of those packages with a guaranteed RA position and in-state tuition for the second two years). Other solid offers, but nothing that would really compete with WUSTL, and no news from T14s. I'm hoping to increase my scholarship package, but I have a sneaking suspicion that as an STL native they think I will be attending regardless of other offers. I do not fully expect them to match the offer from UMN, but it seems to be the closest peer school to use as a bargaining chip. They already know about my Iowa offer. Any thoughts on when/how I should be negotiating?

(Full disclosure: my father is an alum and I have recommendation phoned in from a family friend that is Federal judge and WUSTL alum. 167 LSAT, 3.75 GPA.)
