Anyone have any idea when ASW will be this year? I haven't gotten a good idea of when we'll get an info packet or some kind of admitted students website.

I went to check it out today and it's something like mylaw.wustl.edu. I wasn't given a login but there'a a place to change your PW if you've already been accepted. Plug in your email, they'll send you a reset, and you can get in. Nothing much on there except ASW dates and a few other things.Gitaroo_Dude wrote:Anyone have any idea when ASW will be this year? Edit: woke up from a nap, completely misread your question ASW is March 23-25, according to the admitted students portal that I rambled on about above!

It's your GPA. Would have gotten more if you were above both 75ths.Sarastro wrote:Just got my scholarship offer

I'll delete the following in a day or so:
I know I am not god's gift to law schools by any stretch and I'm definitely not complaining that my life is so so hard being offered what is a great opportunity. It just seems like compared to some other people on LSN I got less than I was expecting and want to know whether its the offer or my expectations that are off. I thought I was relatively safe hoping for at least tuition based on past cycles and what LSN has thrown up so far. Guess my application just wasn't quite good enough? I was hoping the LSAT would offset my GPA, but guess not quite? Anyone have any insight?

Based on LSN and everything, I would have definitely expected you to get a full ride at minimum. I got a scholly similar to yours and my numbers aren't close to yours.

I mean, to be fair my LSAT was only just higher and my GPA is <<<25th, and I still got 129k? So I'm a bit surprised to see how little aid Sarastro got as well.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:It's your GPA. Would have gotten more if you were above both 75ths.Sarastro wrote:Just got my scholarship offer

This is surprising to me. Did your interview go ok/was there anything potentially off putting in your application?Sarastro wrote:Just got my scholarship offer

Are you saying you were physically interviewing on campus and declined a tour?Sarastro wrote:Eta: Completely outing myself, but all else I can think of is I turned them down on their offer to see the campus and such, but it was because I was using my lunch hour to interview and I told them as much and said I'd love to come back after break when I could take off. They seemed to understand, but maybe they thought I wasn't interested?
If that was the case, I can't see how that would have hurt you. I'm assuming you were there on a work day, during lunch time, and your resume reflects that you are currently working, lol. All of that being true, I would frankly be really shocked if they didn't take you at your word.
I'd be curious to hear from some non-OLs on this. I can't really think of an explanation for why you got the amount of $$$ you did. I came into this cycle thinking the only certainties were death, taxes, and WUSTL throwing out $$$ like it prints on trees.

Well, your GPA is far from crappy. Maybe they just figured they can't buy you from HLSSarastro wrote:That's correct. I'd love to hear an explanation, it has me really worried that I committed some terrible faux pas or something that I may have repeated in other applications. If it's just my crappy GPA that would make me feel better than not understanding the process.

Got in through email earlier today!
LSAT = 50th, GPA >75th. I applied 11/14, interviewed 12/6, and went UR3 12/22.
Very excited to visit St. Louis

Reverse splitter (166, 3.88) here. I was accepted 2 days after the interview but have yet to hear about scholarships.sjs12 wrote:I have heard this elsewhere and I agree. I am a reverse splitter and applied to a few other schools in the Top 10-20 and Wash U is the only one who has contacted me at all (and rather quickly, but I have a personal connection to this school so I'm pretty sure that is why). I think some may be waiting to see what December LSAT scores look like.Gitaroo_Dude wrote: IIRC, that's their status checker's way of saying you're complete and ready for review.
I'd hold off on contacting the school at this point. It seems like they're working through applicant profiles who are at or over their LSAT median. They're probably holding off on reverse splitters until later in the cycle.

don't worry, if it gets late in the cycle and you still haven't accepted their offer, it is likely they upgrade your offer - I went from like a 120-135K offer to a full ride last year without negotiating.Sarastro wrote:Just got my scholarship offer

ED2 deferred on 12/23. Wish good luck on RD.TracyWong wrote:Hello everyone, I am a law school graduate from China. My LSAT score is 159 and my GPA is 3.8(AA). I have chosen the ED2 option. And I could afford the whole tuition and living expenses. As regard with the financial aid question, I choose not to apply for any financial aid. I submitted my ED2 application on December 5th. But till now, the Online Status Checker only shows 'Application Documents Received'. Do I have any chances to be admitted?

Checking in! I was admitted via email on 12/23 with LSAT ~ median and GPA > 75th. Haven't heard any information on scholarships yet, but wanted to say hello to some possible future classmates!

Just interviewed! Do they interview everyone or just those that they are considering?

Well, thanks! I sure hope so. The admissions officer (Kari Bellon) REALLY sold me on the school, so I am even more excited about WUSTL Law than before.Assasindowntheavenue wrote:Usually interviews are a precursor to admission.
