When I spoke to the assistant dean of financial aid last week she told me I should get an email this week. If I do that means it took 2-3 weeks for the email, since I was accepted Feb 10.rozes wrote:When did folks receive scholarship emails? I'm going on 2+ weeks since my offer; am getting marginally but increasingly paranoid by the day.
Same timeline as me! Very helpful — merci beaucoup.Torres1893 wrote:When I spoke to the assistant dean of financial aid last week she told me I should get an email this week. Oops. My only excuse is that I'm a Longhorn fan who grew up surrounded by Aggies.eng2jd wrote:If you attend UT, you're going to have to expel that word from your vocabulary.thatblondegirl wrote:Whoop!

Yup. I have no idea what to do. Risk it and take out the loans or go the safe route with a full ride elsewhere, but my job prospects drop.rozes wrote::\ sorry mate. There's still time for reconsideration — no need to lose hope yet!Torres1893 wrote:Yup. I have no idea what to do. Good luck!chargers21 wrote:Well, after getting back disappointing results from my LSAT, I'll be sending in a last day app to UT so that I might be able to have a reasonably low debt fallback if I decide not to go t14. Wish me luck!

BigZuck can probably help you with that.chargers21 wrote:Thanks!PrezRand wrote:gl!chargers21 wrote:Well, after getting back disappointing results from my LSAT, I'll be sending in a last day app to UT so that I might be able to have a reasonably low debt fallback if I decide not to go t14. And does anyone know how the in state tuition works at UT? I am not a resident, so I definitely do not qualify outright, but do they offer in state tuition with scholarship offers? I'm having a hard time figuring out what the COA would actually be at UT because of the large disparity between in state and out of state tuition and whether they offer differing amounts of money based on what you are. Thanks for any help!
I did and thought it was a nice gesture from him. Between this and what other people have said, he seems like a genuinely great guy!pleasesendhelp wrote:Anyone get an email from Dean Farnsworth?
He is! Had lunch with him back in undergrad (he was giving advice to pre-law students). Great guy.Tazewell wrote:I did and thought it was a nice gesture from him.
