If you attend UT, you're going to have to expel that word from your vocabulary.

What are the odds of successful scholly reconsideration? so far I have full at wake and uga (not as helpful, i know), ~2/3 tuition at USC and emory, and ~1/2 tuition at ucla. waiting on/hoping for $ at Vandy as well

When did folks receive scholarship emails? I'm going on 2+ weeks since my offer; am getting marginally but increasingly paranoid by the day.

When I spoke to the assistant dean of financial aid last week she told me I should get an email this week. If I do that means it took 2-3 weeks for the email, since I was accepted Feb 10.

Same timeline as me! Very helpful — merci beaucoup.

Oops. My only excuse is that I'm a Longhorn fan who grew up surrounded by Aggies.

App deadline is tomorrow... anyone think we'll see a huge wave sometime over the next week or so once they have the whole applicant pool?

Yup. I have no idea what to do. Risk it and take out the loans or go the safe route with a full ride elsewhere, but my job prospects drop.

There's still time for reconsideration — no need to lose hope yet!

No movement for me at all, not even a "Why Texas" since going complete in early January. Should I be worried? LSAT>75 GPA<25, but not by much

Well, after getting back disappointing results from my LSAT, I'll be sending in a last day app to UT so that I might be able to have a reasonably low debt fallback if I decide not to go t14. Wish me luck!

FWIW it seems like almost everybody has received a sub-par scholarship from UT so far. Hopefully reconsideration plays out okay.

For anyone having status checker problems - it's a site-wide issue and they are working on it.

Thanks!
And does anyone know how the in state tuition works at UT? I am not a resident, so I definitely do not qualify outright, but do they offer in state tuition with scholarship offers? I'm having a hard time figuring out what the COA would actually be at UT because of the large disparity between in state and out of state tuition and whether they offer differing amounts of money based on what you are. Thanks for any help!

I did and thought it was a nice gesture from him. Between this and what other people have said, he seems like a genuinely great guy!

He is! Had lunch with him back in undergrad (he was giving advice to pre-law students). Great guy.
