mylsn.info has charts and graphs that give a good idea of, based on the time of year and school, when the probability of receiving an acceptance letter shifts more to that of receiving one putting you on the waitlist or rejecting you. That said, I'm surprised you weren't already admitted. I was admitted almost a month ago with worse numbers in both respects. Sometimes I don't get this whole law school thing.addie1412 wrote:I applied on 11/19 with 25<GPA<50 and LSAT=175. Radio silence, no "Why UT?" request. Should I assume WL/ding at this point?

Should I approach those two first with the Wash U offer and try to get them to ornate something pretty high and than take those offers to Texas? Or would they not respect the Wash U offer either
I've been trying to figure out if WUSTL can even be used as a negotiation tool since they tend to give more money than other schools consistently.

I'm no expert, but it would make sense to get closer to their ranking so if you can get something out of Vandy, I'm sure they would try to negotiate. However, WashU isn't that much different in the rankings (just 3, right?) So I think if you show them that offer it could be useful! It's always worth a shot and all the schools you mentioned are very close in rankings. Good luck!justicedoesnotexpire wrote:I got into Texas and was offered some money, but not close to a full ride, and I really do not like the idea of debt beyond what is minimal, necessary, and very very likely to be easily repaid in the near future. I applied 11/18 and haven't heard anything yet either. I'm at the median LSAT though.justicedoesnotexpire wrote:mylsn.info has charts and graphs that give a good idea of, based on the time of year and school, when the probability of receiving an acceptance letter shifts more to that of receiving one putting you on the waitlist or rejecting you. Applied 11/4, haven't heard back.
LSAT > 75th
GPA 25>50th

To give up hope, or not to give up hope - that is the question.
Applied 11/1, GPA above 75th and LSAT below 25th.

Unless I get a large scholarship somewhere else, this is my number one choice. 25<GPA<50 and 75=LSAT with my December score so I'll sweat this one out. Good luck to everyone else!

any other admits get an email about setting up a time to discuss Texas with the director of admissions programs? i'm wondering if they're trying to feel me out before making a scholly offer (since i'm oos and have 0 ties to TX), or if this is a standard thing

Re: Texas C/O 2020 (2016-2017) Applicants
Actually never did. I'm OOS, no ties, GPA between 25 & 50 but LSAT over 75th by what I'm assuming was enough to overlook the Why Texas. K-JD. I submitted 10/11 and went complete 11/4 (I think, based on their not-so-awesome status checker).TexasENG wrote:Congrats!88234 wrote:joeytribbiani wrote:Just got the phone call, I'm in!

Applied 11/20 and heard literally nothing after the confirmation email until last night- Got a voicemail saying I had been accepted.
Sorry to those dinged. Best of luck on your other apps.
Data:
25<GPA<50
75<LSAT
Out of state, no Why Texas

So I got an email to join the facebook group for C/O 2020 but haven't heard anything else (my phone has been jacked up for weeks). This is good news, right? Status checker still says the same thing it always did.
