welcome to the club! I've eaten ~3 pounds of fingernails in the two months I've spent waiting for a response.
Just got a call from a 516 number. My heart almost stopped thinking it was a 512 and could potentially be UT.
I live in Austin and get calls from 512 numbers all the time. I die a little on the inside each time I answer & it's not UT. I'm sure the suspense will only get worse!
+1000! I saw a call from an unknown number today and answered with my heart in my throat... turns out I'm due for an oil change :[
as a Texas Ex, I receive the occasional phone call from the university soliciting donations. Nothing is worse than seeing the 512 number, answering, then hearing somebody on the other end ask for money that I don't even have. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Looks like the people who submitted in Jan. last year didn't receive a decision until late March. Dying.

The guy who called me said 10-14 days for scholarship info. I was accepted 2/2, but I'll post when I receive it.

Congrats! Did you have strong softs and/or are you a URM? I'm curious to know because we have the same stats and UT is the last school I'm waiting to hear from.

Nah it's because Austin has a decent sized tech industry

I'm not URM and I'd say my softs are rather unimpressive. I did attend undergrad and grow up in a state that borders Texas. Idk if that made any difference.

mind sharing timeline? did you submit a Why Tx?
Submitted Dec. 6th, complete Dec. 7th, just got the call 30 min ago. I didn't submit a why Texas and I'm a reverse splitter K-JD from an SEC school. I am honestly SHOCKED I was admitted being as tight as they are with out of state admissions. I stopped checking my status checker because I automatically expected rejection.
Congrats! Mind sharing stats? Reverse splitter myself
160/3.85 graduated UG in 3 years & I have some pretty strong softs!
This gives me hope. 161/3.85, K-JD from SEC, no Why Texas, and strong softs, as well. I submitted a little more than a month after you, though. :)

Congrats! I do believe they do, but only for out of state, which sucks for people who live in El Paso or somewhere which may as well be another state!

Did your app status change to "under review"? I've heard some people say it doesn't I think but I wasn't sure

Yikes! I'll be coming from California- I'll email admissions and post what I hear about reimbursement/stipends.

My app status did not change until this morning after I got a congratulations email from admissions.
Tell them to admit all of us who have been waiting forever while you're at it :P

I told them "Hey listen here. You better admit Tx878 ...or else." I think they took it well

I got information about travel:

The Law School is offering a need-based scholarship (up to $300) to offset your travel expenses to Austin because we know visiting us is an important part of your decision-making process. To be considered for this scholarship, you must complete the Travel Scholarship Information Form. We will notify you if you are selected for a scholarship.

You have an additional opportunity to visit as well. We are designating Friday, March 31st as Admitted Students Day II (ASD II). ASD II consists of a program designed to introduce you to the Law School community. You are eligible to receive this scholarship until April 14, 2017. Travel scholarship offers must be redeemed in person during your visit.

Thanks for sharing! It seems like they're really starting to move on kids around the 25/50 LSAT range, I hope that's a good thing...

Same
+1, in addition to NRTE
+1. NRTE and Tom C.Clark Scholarship. Not bad but I'll definitely need more to consider going. I'll probably submit the scholarship reconsideration form if my scholarship situation w/ Vandy, Georgetown, and Duke doesn't go any better.

I received my acceptance January 24th and received my scholarship notification (rather lack thereof) today, 2/8. General consensus seems to be about 10-14 days from acceptance until the scholarship email comes.

Texas has pretty much been accepting people every day, right? There's no particular day of the week when calls go out, is there?

Did everyone get the email about Justice Center Scholarships and the Texas Law Class of 2020 Admitted Students Facebook page?

I haven't received my decision yet but received both emails, respectively yesterday and today. Wondering if it's a mistake or if it's been sent out to everyone...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
