Just finished my Cornell interview, the written questions were tough, they were all on esoteric policy issues. But I still think it went well, and so I'm overall pretty happy. How much emphasis do they place on the interview?

Also, on one of the written responses, I ran out of time and didn't click the "submit" button. Please tell me that the response still saves once time expires. I'm worried that if you don't click submit, the question doesn't save, and they'll just see a blank box. Can someone who is familiar with the platform tell me what happens in such a case? Thanks!

I got WLed the day after... but IDK if that is because of my interview or because there was a wave the next day. It auto-sbmits the responses at the end of the time, though

Thanks, I know that's the case for the video responses, but does the same apply for the written questions? I'm wondering.

And assuming you're from San Diego, I'm sorry about the Chargers moving to LA lol.

I would assume it does the same for the written ones?
And no, not from San Diego but still incredibly saddened. It was a poor business decision and poor fan decision. LA just got a new team and is already saturated from that standpoint. They're now the new Jets, but worse

Haha, agree. It's a terrible move. The one thing though that surprised me is that Rivers said he'll stay. Thought if they moved he'd definitely leave. I happen to think he's a great QB (he has no supporting cast), so if I were a Chargers fan I'd at least be happy about that.

And I'm really hoping the same applied for the written responses. THe one thing that concerns me is the "submit" button, you don't have that for the video questions, it just cuts you off and saves. Damn, I'm so worried about this now.

Just look at the pictures.

This cycle:

The 167 LSAT, their median, definitely appears to be getting hit harder this cycle than last
edit: I can see my yellow dot in a sea of green!

That map is absolutely nuts. The two 173 applicant denials with high GPAs stick out to me the most. On the right hand side of the graph you can kind of tell that they have a GPA cutoff (denying some high LSAT, myself included with low GPA). However, those are stuck in the middle of a sea of admits. What happened there?

Has anyone received their scholarship notification only to be a bit blindsided? Based on previous years I was expecting a solid scholarship but got offered $0.

I was expecting to end up in Ithaca with a good scholarship but now I'm pretty worried for the rest of the cycle.

Note: per lsn I am the lowest gpa accepted so maybe that has something to do with it?

I had one written response about the cuba situation. Something like "With Fidel Castro's death and and unsure political atmosphere and future in Cuba, what approach would you take on foreign policy relating to the country?". Another one asking what advice I'd give a college freshman who was looking into going to law school

I know nothing about Cuba. Anything else recall other questions? Also, how many days after interview do decisions come? I read 10.

Mine was the next day and less than positive

Is interview request a good thing?

I think generally, yes. If they are interviewing you, they are at least thinking about accepting you

You cannot get in without an interview, so yes, it's a good thing.

Yes, it auto-submits once time is out. On one of them, I typed until there was about 2 seconds left and let it auto submit for me. And I got in so I'm pretty sure they didn't see a blank box. Good luck!

I got the request on a Friday, interviewed on a Sunday and was admitted the following Thursday...so 4 business days for me.

Same. I have one of the lowest GPAs accepted so far and received an abysmally low scholly offer
