Thanks.

Also, the TLS consensus has a track record of like 0-38 at this point, so if we all chime in to say that there won't be any waves until the end of next week we're almost certain to get one earlier.

Can't they just tell people that the March ASW is out of option though? They might tell new admits that the March ASW is out of option when asked, modify their registration website so only the April one shows up, etc. There's more than one way to slice the cake.

I hate how sound this logic is.

But, like, maybe they could just say we couldn't go this weekend...? And they still have plenty of time to call us before making preparations...? *rapidly losing hope and sanity*

Or maybe they'll farm out the phone calls to everyone attending ASW...

Even if they made it super clear, they would still have to deal with lots of calls/e-mails from gunnerish admits who didn't get the message.

I, for one, would happily accept a real JS2 from one of my fellow classmates. Anything to make this waiting over.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if it's weird that I haven't heard anything at all from Harvard since November when I sent in my app. I'm in at Columbia, U of Chicago, NYU, Duke and Georgetown (I got into U of Chicago just 3 weeks after I applied). I feel like I should have at least heard something from Harvard. Is this normal or are they waiting until the last second? Sorry, I'm just a bit antsy since the deadline for admissions is in a month

*Edit* I forgot to note that I'm an AA female. Do they treat URMs differently in terms of when either offers or waitlists/rejections normally go out?

congrats! For those interested, there are a half dozen JS1 slots open tomorrow. Looking more and more like it's going to be a huge JS2 wave next week.

Dang, this cycle is full of surprises.

The real deadline for admissions, for all practical intents and purposes, is next Friday. A lot of people who applied really early haven't heard back, so it's not super unusual. It certainly isn't a good sign, but JS1's are apparently still going out, so don't give up yet!

And as far as I know, there's no difference in URM waitlist/rejection timing.

Congrats! If you search this thread, there are some who have posted the types of questions they've received. It's really a pretty chill interview. Just be yourself.

1. Don't think URMs are treated differently. And by AA I'm assuming you mean African American (Asian Americans are not URMs, for the record).
2. I think it is normal. Law school admission is a somewhat unpredictable process. I have seen many people (a good portion of whom are URMs) who are superior to me in terms of the numbers but didn't even get an interview offer.

Can confirm this. In at CCN on down (most in first waves) and no JS1 from Harvard. :(
