Really hope I get in, although I guess that goes without saying.

Anyone know how many KJDs apply to HLS? I'm a non-splitter, and I've gotten a JS1, but I'm nervous about my chances given that only 20% of the accepted class is KJD. Thoughts on how much that might affect my chances?

Hey all! So sorry I didn't post on here sooner. Got my JS2 a couple of days ago. Above 75th GPA and at 75th LSAT, KJD, took off last semester to work full-time on a political campaign. Got the JS1 right before Christmas, interviewed early January.
TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN COMPLETE FOR WHAT FEELS LIKE TOO LONG: I went complete in late September and didn't hear a thing for three months, then got my JS1 and a lightning quick turnaround to the JS2. If this newly minted HLS admit can give you one piece of advice: it's not over til it's over. Don't fret so much!

Bumping this. Does anyone from then December wave know?
Yeah, you access it with the credentials for your HLS "Me" Account, which you need your HUID number to set up. For the December wave, all that stuff came in an email about two weeks after physical acceptance packages were mailed out. The time lag might be shorter for later waves, though...
Thanks!

Applied 12/11, interview request 1/18, interview 1/25
If folks who have already had their interview feel comfortable elaborating on the questions they were asked here, I'd love that!
Second!
Had my interview yesterday! Went well, the questions were fairly easy compared to what I had imagined (they asked what was my main overall takeaway from college, about my my job after college, and what specific type of law I'm interested in) and also what I thought stood out most from my application.
[for the record, I applied Jan 3rd, have exactly =75 LSAT and GPA. Good luck to us all!

I just went through LSN to look at people with my stats. I am definitely not confident now, I do not think anyone like me has been accepted outright. Only see a few and they only got in off of the waitlist.

7th wave: 3/11/16
8th wave: 3/28/16

Also to any KJDs who have interviewed already, has anyone been asked "would you consider deferring" rather than "why law school now?", or has your interviewer suggested deferring in any capacity? Or if anyone has insight on this, I'd appreciate it!

Am a KJD, was asked this question. What I said was that the reason I was applying now was because I had a very specific idea of the type of work that I want to do (public policy and government) and that I wanted to be able to do it at the level that required a JD. I said that while I could take time off to start working I knew that the work I'd be doing wouldn't be as fulfilling because at the end of the day I wanted to be able to work with decision-makers on hard policy. The answer seemed to go over well
I did mention, though, that I would be open to deferring if an interesting enough opportunity that I thought would be worth while came up. It's actually what I'm considering right now. Even though I've gotten into all of my schools I'm seriously considering deferring for a year for a few interesting jobs that I've found that would be great experience and give me some time to cool down before jumping into law school

I wonder when the next admissions committee meeting is....would be really cool if they looked at folks who interviewed this week, met early next week, and then came to a decision late next week

In 2019 there had been 3 waves at this point. This year there has only been two so I'm hopeful that'll we'll have one sooner than 3/4 weeks from now

Should I be getting worried now? 173, GPA > 75, KJD, applied 10/12, interviewed at the end of November. I'm starting to get worried.

My friend was in your exact position (same stats, KJD, and interview window) and got admitted in February. Try not to panic until at least the end of March ha

For URMs who got a JS1, did you feel like your interview questions were focused on those URM aspects of your personal statement/application?
