Yes. Also, they don't seem to pay much attention to time zones. It was literally the best wake-up call ever.

Also, you single digit "Time to JS1" folks on the spreadsheet, what the hell?

I applied early January and got a JS1 request 1/23. It took about two weeks from complete, but that seems somewhat atypical.

Just had my JS1, nothing special, very professional, no "Why law" or "Why H", a lot of behavioral questions

Back to waiting I go

If folks who have already had their interview feel comfortable elaborating on the questions they were asked here, I'd love that!

Second!

I had my interview earlier this month and my interviewer just asked my about why I chose to go to my undergrad, what my thesis was about, to elaborate on my resume, and then to tell her about a convo I had with someone I really didn't agree with... and also why KJD and why Harvard

So the "interviewed" percentage on this year's spreadsheet has increased to 66% in the past few days after the JS1 waves, compared to ~60% in the past few years.

As neurotic as I am, starting to feel more and more pessimistic about my JS2/JSW chances :( :(

realistically the spreadsheet really isn't generalizable to the total Harvard Law admissions statistics. While this particular spreadsheet may show 66% interviewed it's also likely that the people on this blog are people very interested in Harvard Law and thus likely to have gotten a JS1 regardless.

JUST LEAVE ME TO DROWN IN MY OWN SORROW

just kidding, you're absolutely right, it is very likely that the spreadsheet is not representative of the overall pool, or this cycle

Do 60% of people really get JS1 each year? I thought the number was way lower... :(

It is most certainly lower than that. Even as a percentage of applicants on TLS I think that's too high. I'm going to assume that of the applicants who don't put their number in this spreadsheet, maybe 10% of them get js1.

There's just too many people who aren't active on this site, and they skew to the low end of the applicant pool

No its actually around 20%. The people reporting on the spreadsheets don't constitute a representative sample of the full HLS applicant pool.

Even if JS1s are up, that may not hurt the odds with the number of overall applicants down this year :?

The percentage is up because the denominator is down. The numerator is the same. They're probably doing the same number of JS1s this year as they did last year, but the total number of applicants is down, so that means a larger percentage of the applicant pool is getting a JS1.
