I certainly do!! Just did a little research-- Ny times V Sullivan, and Getz-- negligence and recklessness can satisfy the actual malice standard for both public and private figures. Can't wait to spend the rest of my life in the minutiae!

Edit: only some sarcasm here

Please may there be JS2s tomorrow bestowed upon us from the deities who populate Austin Hall.

Sounds dangerously close to heresy...don't make us dunk you.

Just received the admission package! :D Admitted on Jan 25 and confirmed address on the next day. It was sent out on Feb 8 and reach me a week later.

Fingers crossed for those waiting for JS1 and JS2!

Btw, have we had a wave of JS1s lately? Seems like no. Perhaps this means ad comm hosted their ad comm meeting this week?

Seems like they usually start around 9:30 AM EST, and we haven't heard anything yet. Here's to an unproductive day at work.

Data point: JS1 invite around 11AM EST back on 1/30. I believe that was the last wave, yeah?

I'm talking about JS2 phone calls. I seem to recall they started rolling in before 10:00AM, for whatever that is worth.

Re: JS1. I think there was one on Feb. 6. Fewer people reported so it was probably a smaller wave.

How many JS1 waves do we speculate are still coming? I know last year at this time there was still 3 or 4 to go, but they may have been more trickles than waves..

I understand the slowness before the Feb 1 deadline due to the decline of high scorers (the admission people probably wanted to see the whole app pool before making too many decisions). But, the app deadline was 2 weeks ago now. I wonder how long it takes to decide who to accept/calculate the expected impact on medians. I am generally interested how this is done/how YHS decide on their timetables.
Probably waiting for the Secret Service to go through and vet all the potential admits before Tiffany arrives.
