I think the JS2 wave this cycle was actually on a Thursday, 12/19R. Also am a js1er today who went complete in early November.
50<LSAT<75, 25<gpa<50
Maybe this is the start of schools confirming lower applicants this cycle and going back through earlier applications...

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
Hello - looking for input? I've recently started several new jobs, one legal related, since the beginning of the calendar year, and these obviously weren't listed on my applications for places like Harvard and Columbia at the time. Is it worth it to send an updated resume now, since I'm still waiting to hear back, or should I wait since waves of admits are likely in the near future and only send it if I end up waitlisted? Thanks for any advice!

Does VA2lawschool's statement mean that we suspect there are less applications this year? Does that seem to be the case?

we know it for a fact - based on the data that spivey released (originally published by LSAC i think).btruj777 wrote:VA2lawschool wrote:Hoping this is right! I went complete around the same time, with similar stats.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:Also am a js1er today who went complete in early November.

In theory a cycle with less applicants should be pretty good correct? I wonder if their goal of interviewing 1200 has been affected by this.R. Congrats to all who received a JS1 today!
If I went complete early January but didn't receive a JS1, is there still hope for me? I'm @25 LSAT and GPA 25-50

Yes! Check the admissions spreadsheets from this year and last for wait time distributions. Personally, I waited about 2 months (but did apply earlier).mtf612 wrote:Congrats to all who received a JS1 today!

I like these discussions—they're a bit like LSAT LR questions.btruj777 wrote:In theory a cycle with less applicants should be pretty good correct? Answer is probably, but not necessarily, yes. What if all the goobers decided not to take a moonshot at the H-bomb this year? Then there would be fewer apps, but the average app would be of higher quality.

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
yeah its never a definite yes.
171-180 scoring applicants are significantly down which means that the H applicant pool is probably weaker in terms of #s this year
