I applied towards the end/middle of January and didn't interview. Got in a couple of days ago. I wouldn't take that as a good example though. I think it is much better to interview and it raises your chances. I probably just got extremely lucky.
Yeah, but you're Harvey Spectre. Any and all advice from you doesn't apply to the rest of us plebs.

Did you know some guy on the forums actually assumed my application was super arrogant because of this avatar lol

Btw I had a laugh today but now I can't find the thread: Some guy was talking about how he's in biglaw and in order to pay off his debt asap he eats one meal a day and doesn't use heating during the winter.
I wish I was joking.

HAHAHA, was it the user with Louis Litt as their avatar? Cause that'd make my day.

Who has time to eat more than one meal a day anyways? And Id assume big law means you're not even home long enough to feel cold.

LOL, right? And they make it look like they enjoy it. I like how Louis Litt supposedly clocks the most hours out of anyone in the firm yet he has time to go mudding, play with cats, and make cake.

Have any November submitters decided to write LOCIs? My application went complete 11/17, and I still haven't heard a word.

I tried watching it a couple of days ago and couldn't. New seasons suck.

I wonder if Harvard paid them more than Yale to reinforce that Harvard is better in the show.

what's the most fun time you had? (srsly, again !?!! :!: )

I recently received confirmation that persons older than 26 do have to complete the CSS Profile as part of the merit aid consideration process, but they are exempted from the requirement to provide parental data in the Profile.

Frustratingly, it looks like because I previously submitted the Profile for a school that did require parental information, it is now impossible not to provide that same information to Northwestern (because CSS will allow you to edit fields before submitting the Profile to a new school but not to delete them).

Anybody else having this issue? Is there some workaround?

Another school advised me to put in zeros for all parental financial figures since they knew they would not be taking my parents' finances into account (there are a few the CSS form won't let you zero out - value of house, for example - but mostly, it worked).

Regular decision applicant here, waiting to hear back from NU. What do I have to do re financial aid while I wait? The only deadline I see is a March 1 deadline for FAFSA and CSS. If I don't hear back from them by March 1, is there anything else I need to do?

If you get in after March 1st then you have two weeks from the date of your acceptance to file everything.
