6PM Eastern, Saturday
Where did you get this information? I already submitted so it doesn't matter, but I found a typo that maybe I could've avoided...

We can't submit edits after submitting our app, right? I switched between tenses in my post-college activities narrative and am annoyed.

What is a post-college activity narrative? Is that in your personal statement?
There was an optional addendum on the app that asked you to describe what you have been doing since graduation if you have been out of school more than 3 months.

If you go back on their twitter, it appears they have pushed the deadline back for the last several years to allow for occurrences such as technical difficulties when submitting your application. I don't think it means anything.

Anyone else extra want that Yale acceptance because [in addition to everything else] of their housing costs compared to H/S

I like H better, but Y is so much cheaper. Assuming I get into Yale, it'll be a tough decision.

According to these estimates, Yale will also cost ~20,000 less than Harvard over the next 3 years

I'm at H right now and I can confirm that housing is a big pain-- you'll be lucky to get a room for $1000 nearby, and if you want to live alone, you'd be lucky to find a studio for less than $2000. Crazy stuff! It's almost at NYC levels.

My friends at Y on the other hand are living the life! Of course, housing shouldn't be a massive factor in your decision but it is actually a pretty big stress factor to have to fork out a ton of money every month, especially when you can't work during the school year and have a billion dollars in tuition.

And there's no way I would live with other people during 1L. Studio or 1-bedroom for sure -- can't afford the needless distractions of other people. I'm honestly surprised that ANY 1Ls at top schools share apartments. I really don't understand how they do it.

I don't think it's out of choice lol. But yeah I completely agree, I feel like we're too old for roommates.
