Because THEY are the top 2? They're very different schools. I didnt apply to S. Why your top 2?
I know they are different. In a world of neutral locations (or if I lived on the east coast), it would just be Yale, then nothing for a mile, then probably Harvard.

I live right by Stanford. My family and friends are here. So that gives it a huge bump in my ranking.

I don't choose which schools are my faves just on rankings. I didn't even apply to columbia

oh wow checking back in to say this is dark.

anyway i've made peace with my fate etc etc feeling pretty good and then i remembered that i spent like 30 hours on my 250 and got borderline irate :!: :!:

this is the only grievance i have left, and i wanted to air it
