In via a phone call about an hour ago! I was one of the UCR2 11/30 people -- GPA and LSAT both above the 75th percentile. If this has shown me anything, it's that "no news" is not necessarily "bad news" and we need to all stop freaking out so much! It will be okay!

Accepted! Call at 3:03 Central Time! Legit shaking - I saw the number and had to walk out into the hall to answer because I was still teaching. So thrilled - didn't think I had that strong of a shot. LSAT=75%, but 25<GPA<50. :D :D :D

"Pending is better than a Penn ding"

He repeated to himself as he sipped his drink at the airport bar.

! Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, what were your dates? You seem to be one of the few of today's acceptances whose GPA isn't > 75th.

Dinged. URM 50 > GPA >25, 50 > LSAT >25. Penn wasn't one of my top choices, but still disappointed.

Is the wave still going? Looks like some people are still getting calls and emails even though it's past 5 in PA. Also, did anyone UCR 12/14 or 12/20 (I forget which, but mine was one of those) get news today?

That's a bad way to find a bad news. Good luck with your other apps.

Waitlisted via status checker.

Penn's one of my top choices so I'm strongly considering riding the waitlist.
