At the very least, we can breathe today - admissions office is closed in observation of MLK.

Tomorrow, we resume in panic!

Same here. Any idea on how long it takes for a decision after UR2?

seems my predictions are decent... I'd say #DecisionThursday is a go.

[+] Spoiler
mm2368 wrote:For ED2 people:

2016 TLS Data:
- UCR1: ED2 candidates did not go UCR1 until the day of the deadline (Friday, Jan. 15th). After the weekend, the staff had off on Monday, the 18th for MLK.
- UCR2: ED2 candidates went UCR2 on the 19th - this was Adcomm's first day back at the office. Notice how close UCR1 and UCR2 were.
- Decision Days: Friday, the 22nd (just three days after UCR2 - and all acceptances); Monday, the 25th (WLs, dings; I see no acceptances on this date) and Friday, the 29th (More acceptances, WLs, and dings)

If we are to assume that they'll follow a similar pattern as far as timing (I presume they want to wrap up the ED2 people quickly to return to Dec. LSAT taker RD apps), next week is going to be a big week for ED2 people.

2017 Predictions:
- UCR1: Tuesday, January 17th
(Actual: Applicant on TLS went UCR1 on Friday, Jan. 13th)
- UCR2: Thursday, January 19th or Friday, January 20th
- Decision dates: Friday, January 20th (Ambitious), Tuesday, January 24th, Friday, January 27th, and Monday, January 30th.

Sorry if this has already been asked...

On their financial aid checklist, Penn says you are required to fill out a financial aid application at www.needaccess.org; however, the link is broken and the page doesn't seem to exist? Anyone else run into this? Wondering if maybe their checklist still needs to be updated for this year....

NeedAccess is no longer a thing (I just learned this last week) and according to Penn Law's website, the financial aid information is supposed to be out end of January. However, as per student services website: http://www.sfs.upenn.edu/finaid-checklists/checklists-grad-law-1-2017-2018.htm:

What does one write for a LOCI? I had been under the assumption that it was kind of like a "Why x", or maybe a "why STILL x" but the way that Penn worded their Waitlist offer it more sounded like an additional admissions essay?

You think it will be decisions for this wave of UR2s, or decisions for previous UR2s?

Anyone who is UR2 is fair game for a decision and I'm basing that on my close watch of previous waves.
