Just went complete. Submitted my app on the 4th, so that seems like a pretty good turn around.

I mean, I'm looking to practice in a specific market so I applied to one school below t14 (because regional pull is super real), but I get it. Might feel douchey, but you worked hard to be a top applicant, and the anxiety is... a bit much.

Whoa - not worth getting circumcised over. LOL :D

Let's talk about approximate timelines (for RD) here:
- complete --> UR1 = 1 month
- UR1 --> UR2 = 1 month

Is this right? I tried to look at the spreadsheet from last year but I think it has been resorted again and so the dates are not concordant.

Timeline didn't happen for me; complete to UR was about a month, yes - but my UR2 was a week after my UR1. UR2 to decision, however, has the greatest degree of variance.

Took about a week for me to go from complete to UR1, then about 6 weeks from UR1 to UR2.

Edit: Also an RD applicant, submitted late November.

[+] Spoiler

For ED Candidates

2016 TLS Data:
- UCR1: ED2 candidates did not go UCR1 until the day of the deadline (Friday, Jan. 15th). After the weekend, the staff had off on Monday, the 18th for MLK.
- UCR2: ED2 candidates went UCR2 on the 19th - this was Adcomm's first day back at the office. Notice how close UCR1 and UCR2 were.
- Decision Days: Friday, the 22nd (ED and RD mixed); Monday, the 25th (ED notifications only, and were all WLs and dings) and Friday, the 29th (ED and RD mixed)

2017 ED2, thus far:
- UCR1: UCR1 was on Friday, Jan. 13th)
- UCR2 Prediction: Wednesday, January 18th
- Decision Prediction: Friday, January 20th, Tuesday, January 24th, and Friday, January 27th.

For RD Candidates:

- Decision Days: Friday, the 22nd and Friday, the 29th

2017 RD, thus far:
Decision Dates to date: Thursday, January 12th, Tuesday, December 20th.
Notes: UR2 movement like the one we saw yesterday has preceded these decision waves, not necessarily for those who went UR2 but just for people at UR2 in general (regardless of date)
Decision Prediction: Friday, January 20th and Friday, January 27th

Announcement Times:

12/13/2016 - Penn tweets at 2:37 prior to ED calls.
