Been following this thread for awhile. Finally decided to officially join in the chaos. I'm in FR and anxiously awaiting the 24th. I've never checked my email this many times a day in my life! The wait is agonizing! Hopefully we've all managed to avoid the ding wave for today and we will get news tomorrow.

was there another Ding wave today? or is everyone going to hear back Accept/Ding/WL tomorrow?

So far no one has reported an FR ding here, so either admissions is holding off until tomorrow or at the very worst holding off for Friday. It's really hard to predict a pattern for all of this. No idea why they would suddenly skip today for reporting admission results though

Did the WL/Dings come out the day before the acceptances in the last wave?

yes. I recall the status checker changing around 3pm 2pm PST for the first batch of FR

Same here. They had some issues with the admitted students website back in December when they first sent out the link - wonder if this problem is the same. They sent out an email that time so we might get something from them shortly.

Applied late december, went complete early January, I think 1/7

Just went to check the status checker and now there is like a "mailings" section but the box is all grey with like nothing listed in it. I don't remember this being here when I checked yesterday but I might be going crazy. Under FR; didn't know if this was like a sign of something/if other people are seeing this too/if I'm just being neurotic per usual?

FWIW my checker has the same box but i cannot remember if it's been there before either. So I'm not helping except to say, you're not alone in your neurosis

Anyone know how much of a time gap there was for last FR wave between the status checker being updated and receiving an email? Refreshing this page is giving me mega anxiety, I'd rather it just pop up on email on its own

Sorry to spoil the hope here, but I have the mailings section now, too, (and also didn't have it before) and I am not on FR. I've been UR1 since 2/6. And I'm definitely not getting admitted outright.
