If accepted, how likely are you to attend?

Are you kidding? It's my first choice. Consider my seat deposit sent.

It's high on my list but it's not THE school I'm waiting to hear back from.

It's high on my list, but I can probably be swayed by more money from another school.

Meh... I applied because it's a T14 - we'll see how my cycle goes.

Really just plan on using it for scholarship negotiation purposes.

Still feel really unsure. I'll probably visit or go to ASW to get a better feel for the school/location.

not yet... last year the emails went out at midnight on 11/3 I believe. I'm thinking either midnight tonight, 3pmish tomorrow, or Friday midnight. You are right, based on past cycles I'd be shocked if there are no decision waves this week.
Great now you gave me something to think about all week lol!
Hmm, hope to here something or at least see some movement on the tracker soon.
From last years thread it looks like emails went out first, then status checker changed the next day fwiw

What's the consensus?
Based on what I've seen on the UMich site, it seems like some of the perks are a lighter course load to ease into LS, (the obvious one) graduating early (or taking a semester off), but also the smaller amount of students (90 or so) --> better bonding experiences. I know of someone who started at UMich this summer in their summer start program; I could try to ask her about this if you all would like.
yesssss

also I feel like I'm the only one on this website who doesn't have a friend at a T14.

I encouraged my now ex-girlfriend to go to law school, helped her study for the LSAT (I got a 169), and then she beat me and got into far better schools than I could. So there are worse things than not knowing anyone at a T14.
I had to read this a few times to make sure you weren't my ex-boyfriend, haha. I'm forever thankful to him for encouraging me to pursue this path, so be proud that you had such a big influence on someone's life.

How long did it take for status checkers to come? I submitted 3 weeks ago and still nothing is that normal?

It was about a month for mine to come when I submitted on 9/1. I wouldn't be surprised if its a little longer now due to having more people submitting around now.
Thanks!

Been impressed by the PR at Michigan.

If I applied around the 22nd, any shot of getting an update tonight?

The hype is real! I'm assuming "midnight" is central time? If so, us west coasters might get a decision by 10:00.
