I had to read this a few times to make sure you weren't my ex-boyfriend, haha. I'm forever thankful to him for encouraging me to pursue this path, so be proud that you had such a big influence on someone's life.MCJ987654 wrote:proteinshake wrote:yesssssbrinicolec wrote:Based on what I've seen on the UMich site, it seems like some of the perks are a lighter course load to ease into LS, (the obvious one) graduating early (or taking a semester off), but also the smaller amount of students (90 or so) --> better bonding experiences. I know of someone who started at UMich this summer in their summer start program; I could try to ask her about this if you all would like.Dr.Degrees_Cr.Cash wrote:What's the opinion on starting in the Summer? I'm working now so I don't really have a reason I have to start in the Fall, and having a GPA may help for 1L summer.
What's the consensus?
also I feel like I'm the only one on this website who doesn't have a friend at a T14.
I encouraged my now ex-girlfriend to go to law school, helped her study for the LSAT (I got a 169), and then she beat me and got into far better schools than I could. So there are worse things than not knowing anyone at a T14.
