It's high on my list but it's not THE school I'm waiting to hear back from.

It's high on my list, but I can probably be swayed by more money from another school.

Meh... I applied because it's a T14 - we'll see how my cycle goes.

Really just plan on using it for scholarship negotiation purposes.

Still feel really unsure. I'll probably visit or go to ASW to get a better feel for the school/location.

When did you submit? Also, everyone remember to fill out the app spreadsheet once you've gone through the process.

Submitted 9/4. Anyone know how long until acceptances start going out? I'm sure it's somewhere in TLS but sort of lazy to look on my dying phone.

I EDed last year. Do you think I could somehow mention that in a Why Mich essay? like, I really like the school and would love to go there. I'm not Eding this year, but is it worth mentioning?

I don't see how that would help you and the admissions committee may wonder why you chose not to ED this year. I think I would leave it out if it were me, but maybe someone else has a different view of it? I mean they are going to see your reapplying and you can say that you really love M and that's why you chose to reapply and that would seem sufficient to me.

Personally I probably wouldn't bring up last year's ED. I think you can convey your interest in the school with a normal Why Michigan essay. Mentioning the previous ED won't give you much (if any) of a boost, and it'll raise the question of why you decided not to ED this year.

Does she happen to know when the deposit date for summer start tends to fall? I can't seem to find it anywhere

A Michigan student that was lurking here actually PMed me to let me know it usually falls around the last day of April, so no need. Thanks though!

I did just because that's what they asked. And Tae-Kwon-Do is pretty bad ass. Sounds way better than "strength training"... I should have put Tae-Kwon-Do

Are there any current or accepted students on here who would be willing to post an example of their Michigan resume for us commoners to see how they integrated the Hobbies etc section??? Does resume actually have to be one, one sided page?!?!? I'm dying

I'm not an accepted student, but mine was two pages due to publications. It didn't say anywhere that it had to be one page, plus most schools specifically state 1-2 pages. So I think 2 is fine.

Unless you are an older applicant with a former career, the resume should be 1 page. No one cares that you won the spelling bee.

I am submitting two pages to all schools and I am a pretty traditional student. Definitely think some will have enough work experience and extracurriculars for that.
