It's high on my list but it's not THE school I'm waiting to hear back from.

It's high on my list, but I can probably be swayed by more money from another school.

Meh... I applied because it's a T14 - we'll see how my cycle goes.

Really just plan on using it for scholarship negotiation purposes.

Still feel really unsure. I'll probably visit or go to ASW to get a better feel for the school/location.

Dinged via status checker - 167/3.5 so not a huge surprise, would have appreciated a WL.

Gets the first rejection out of the way though, congrats to all admits!

Admitted on 12/9 and still waiting. Per the Admitted Students Facebook page, they DO let you know if you are not receiving any aid. However, I'm also getting nervous with all this waiting

Admitted 11/30 and I have also yet to hear about any $$. Although i'm sitting a little below their lsat median, so it's probable I won't be eligible for any

GPA > 75th, 25th < LSAT < 50th.

I submitted 11/14 and went complete after a little over four weeks.

Bless you. First person i've seen in a while who submitted before me and was admitted

Last year my friend with a 164 got a significant scholly! There's hope for you yet!

That does give me a little hope! Thank you! :)

For those who got a decision today, did you guys get a "sorry for the wait, thanks for being patient" email a couple days ago?

I didn't, but I had only been complete for about a month, including the holidays.

Apparently I went complete today. Decided to pull up the status checker since I got notification of Complete at Penn and my app moved forward today as well.

Wow, that's super quick for Michigan. You applied just a few weeks ago, right? I got an email with the status checker like a week ago, and I'll probably have to wait another 3-4 weeks to go complete.

Congrats to everyone who got admitted!

Does anyone know of the "list" of schools that Michigan will "compete" with for giving out scholarship awards/money?

Northwestern and up should work fine.

Okay thanks. Is George Washington too far of a stretch?

you could try if that's your only bargaining chip, but if you think you'll get something from a T14 (and especially a T12) school, just wait.

My Michigan app went complete today too. I applied like 2 days later than you and did send them a Why Michigan essay via email.

Probably, but if I had a full at gwu and nothing at Michigan I'd at least try.

The worst they could say is no, but also, just in my mind, GWU and Michigan are two different calibers of school so if I were talking to someone who was telling me about their full scholly at GW, I feel like I'd be like, "Okay... And??????" I mean, that's a T20 vs. a T10...

A response to "and??????" Is "and $200,000 is a lot of money." I'm not saying they'll match it, but it is at least worth asking if they'd come up at all. You're right: worst thing that happens is they say no. Painless!
