Looking at Stanny's LSN for similar applicants this cycle is filling me simultaneously with hope and dread. How?

crap, what portion of the class is typically admitted off the WL?hammy393 wrote:350 / 430 (81%)LegalAAA wrote:Can we get an update on the FB group count?

According to LSN, about 8% of SLS admits come from the WL: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... p?t=225363curry1 wrote:crap, what portion of the class is typically admitted off the WL?hammy393 wrote:350 / 430 (81%)LegalAAA wrote:Can we get an update on the FB group count?

So, about 34 students (8% of 430) are accepted off the waitlist each year
That means there might only be about 50 straight admits (non WL) remaining (430 - 350 - 34)

Looking at the LSN data, trying to figure out what credence, if any, to give to the idea that they make decision for same/similar complete dates at the same time. Seems to be a huge range in days from complete to decision, although the 60-80 day mark seems to be the strike zone for acceptances. Rejections look to be far more unpredictable.bearspac12champs wrote:Someone on LSN got accepted today with a 1/24 complete date!
Signed,
1/25 and hoping for the best

Anyone want to speculate on the odds they'll do one more sweep through from the beginning (and accept all of us long-term TLS waiters)?Pozzo wrote:Looking at the LSN data, trying to figure out what credence, if any, to give to the idea that they make decision for same/similar complete dates at the same time. I suppose the 150 day anecdote would be comforting if I wasn't already approaching the 200 day mark...Pozzo wrote:Awwww.... How did you know that my love language is gif?SmallK wrote:gilmoregirls.gifPozzo wrote: Someone got in after 150 days. Hold fast, dear friend.

Wouldn't it be so chill if Stanny had an April 1 notification deadline like H???
Also don't play against me in the UR date Olympics because I will win!!!!!!!
I see you pretzeltime...9/15 and still kickin it
september clurbbbbbb
+1
yesss let's make our presence known to our brethren in the thread who are like "UR 2/1 FML im dying"
I'm 99% sure we will all be WL or accepted if we've survived the relentless ding waves this long (probably WL sadly).
ETA: if we get WL, we might literally wait a year before receiving a final decision (after S orientation)
I'm sorry to say, I went DLS/ ding last year literally the last day of the cycle last year (complete in november not september but not exactly a late applicant). not trying to crush hopes and dreams, just don't want people to be unprepared as I was

i had also taken a day off work like 2 days earlier to go visit and was like...well, mild waste of a vacation day. sigh. to be fair though, I had assumed throughout I would get dinged so I could see how they would interpret someone living in sf who never visited or wrote a loci to be uninterested (which - fair)pretzeltime wrote:omg that is savage/so silly. thanks 4 sharingeck456 wrote:

Received the call Friday. Genuinely shocked but very excited. There's still time and a little bit of space. Good luck guys.PLT56 wrote:Long time lurker. First time poster. Part of the Sept crew. I suspect the LOCI helped a bit.
