I'm guessing since there's admitted student events @ Columbia today, we won't be seeing any hold movement?

Any hope for held folks with April 27 almost here?
Or are we too going to add to the bench strength?

Hate to say this but I expect rejection snail mail every day. I wish they would just email it so that the torture is not prolonged.

Seems like you're 170+ too. The drop in that score range hasn't helped fortunes as expected. Just posted a question on these lines in the Spivey thread. Anyone has a theory/perspective/expert view on this?

I put in a request for email notification and they said they'd add the request to my file.

I'm expecting Reserve any day now. I really don't think many of us will get a ding, because they hardly ding anyone and we were good enough to get the hold instead of Reserve a couple months ago. But since a handful of people have already gotten in from Hold, I think Reserve is all that's left.

I think this is likely, since no one has reported hearing since Thursday and all of those people were Reserved. I did notice on LSN that 4/5 of those who reported getting Reserved last Thursday were sub-170s, so maybe those of us who are 170+ still have hope? My numbers twins got in in January :(

For those who are held and should receive a decision by 4/27 (which I understand could still be a reserve), will all decisions come via email? Or do accepted students get a phone call?

I'm under the impression that dings will be sent via snail mail but I can't figure out if the 4/27 deadline is "we'll mail it by 4/27" or "you'll get it by 4/27"

FYI - you can sign up for usps informed mail and you see pictures of what will be sent to you that day
