I mean...You'll get it when you get it. Could be now. Could be at 11:30.

Literally thirty seconds elapsed between my post and my receipt of the acceptance email... hahah I need to chill.

I'd say you have a good shot with an ED app, but I would t recommend it since you'd most likely get into other T14s with money.

Aren't PT and ED different?

ohhh I thought you meant you got some special ED app. there's really nothing to make of it imo. I guess you should just appreciate an expedited app!

It wasn't me, was just curious as the advice for OP is vastly different depending on whether it's a binding ED or just the PT. Take the PT, don't go ED.

Is MyLSN the go-to resource for determining how likely it is to get off of a wait-list, or are there other places with information?

That is an extremely painful read.

this part is probably all you need to know:

2. Berkeley: 25% (80 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 20 eventually admitted)
3. Harvard: 23.7% (312 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 74 eventually admitted)
4. Georgetown: 20.4% (392 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 80 eventually admitted)
5. Duke: 17.7% (288 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 51 eventually admitted)
6. Northwestern: 17% (223 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 38 eventually admitted)
7. Cornell: 12.1% (206 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 25 eventually admitted)
8. Chicago: 11.5% (314 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 36 eventually admitted)
9. Stanford: 10.8% (148 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 16 eventually admitted)
10. Yale: 10% (70 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 7 eventually admitted)
11. UVA: 7.6% (580 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 44 eventually admitted)
12. Michigan: 7.3% (330 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 24 eventually admitted)
13. Penn: 5.8% (346 applicants on LSN did not withdraw from the waitlist, 20 eventually admitted)

Oh no haha, I meant painful as in the statistics were not what I wanted to see. Looks like a retake may be in order...

So right now, my PT app status says:

"Current Status: Under review
Current Status Date: 11/29"

Are you saying that at some point the current status date will change and that's UR2 / I can expect to hear from DLS shortly thereafter?

I've been UR since September, so I was hoping it would be soon. I will try to be patient for the next two weeks. Thank you!
