A lot of us are normal applicants.
Well then I guess I better ramp up the neurotic checking of my status. Thanks.
When did you interview? And I started off ignoring it, but have gotten progressively more neurotic as each day goes by.
I haven't interviewed. Haven't been invited to, either.

Haven't heard from them again. I read in the forums that some people get a decision without ever interviewing, but I feel like I would be the kind of candidate they interview, so Im getting worried that I haven't heard from them yet.
LSAT=Median
25>50>GPA>75
UVA interviews everyone they accept. They're adamant about it. The Dean of admissions told us at ASW last year and this year at orientation that nobody gets admitted to UVA Law without the admissions office at least talking to them by phone first. FWIW.

For those accepted, what are your stats and did you write a why UVA?

I went to Undergrad in VA so I'm interested but I can't get down to visit and it's so hard to learn anything from the website!

LSAT > 75th GPA < 25th. I also have some pretty unique work experience that I think genuinely moved the needle for me as a splitter.

I didn't write a why UVA, but I was asked to answer that during my interview.

Has anyone at/above both 75ths been interviewed and heard back yet?

That's my situation. Interviewed me almost two weeks ago, thought I really nailed it, and status checker still says under review.

Also wrote why UVA, FWIW.

Just received an interview request from Dean Faulk. Is that a pretty good sign?

A lot of us who interviewed with Dean Faulk were accepted at the end of the interview. Some weren't.

Checking in! Was accepted ED as a reverse splitter last October but got sick and had to defer for a year. I was on grounds last spring for ASW and UVA was always my number one choice, so let me know if y'all have any questions!

has anyone accepted received any info about a visiting stipend? My friend mentioned that she received one, and I was wondering whether that was a thing they commonly did...

For visiting stipends, I was told to just reach out to whoever contacted you for your interview. I was offered $400 to come at a time of my choosing and another $400 to come for the ASW weekend. I was told you have to pay for your trip up front and then they cut you a check either when you're visiting or like a week afterwards. I am on the west coast, though, and I'm not sure if they offer different amounts for students who would be traveling a shorter distance.

ETA: They just told me this over the phone after my interview was over.
