Was also dinged, but since they waited so long and accidentally told us all we were accepted at least once I think we can call it a Waitlist ->ding lol.

Good luck to those of you who have to wait even longer. It's great news for you guys since NYU accepts so many off the WL!

Hey all, I'm wondering from the offers you've received, is it still the case that your Dean's Scholarships will be reduced by 50% in your 3L year if you do a 2L SA?

Yes. It's not exactly a 50% reduction but close.

OK thanks. I'm just curious (applying next year and so trying to get my expectations in order), do you think the numbers people are reporting on here and LSN include the reduction? Or should I read "120k" as "100k" ?

I think it's a mix of both. I included the full scholarship (no reduction) on LSN because I know I won't be doing an SA 2L summer, but looking at some people's numbers, I think they reduced it. If it's kind of a strange number (78 or 91, for example) it's been reduced.

think it's just bustling because everyone got their decision at once instead of interspersed over several months

yeah, also based on LSN data they tend to waitlist a smaller percentage of the applicant pool than do waitlist magnates like CLS , GULC, and Penn.
