NYU has always been a lil weird and YP-y. Not on UVA level but still.

Well above both 75ths here

okay I cannot. I simply can't! I refuse, really.
they have to take you, like I think there's a law or something that says they have to accept Poseidon Dollar Sign.

also p the fuck s, last year there was some legend named Dante-something on TLS with crazy good stats whom NYU waitlisted. He got in May 10th from the WL. Just FYI, this could be you.

Did he get scholarship money? I'm hoping for some waitlist love

Yeah I did get into H, haven't withdrawn yet cos I kinda wanna see how different my cycle turns out to be compared to what I expected (yes I'm pathetic  ), so far got 7 out of 10 my pre-cycle predictions right (H being the pleasant surprise while Cornell being the slightly nastier surprise).

but you're likely not choosing NYU over H, I'm guessing?

I hope they don't. We need the biggest TLS crew.

From my 6 years on here, it's changed a bit, yet they've mostly been NYU, WashU, Georgetown, H, and Columbia

Haha :) sorry can't do that quite yet until I hear about $$ from CLS
If they make me a good offer I'll withdraw from NYU that day and tell them to give you my spot (if I even have one to give up)!

There's an acceptance reported on reddit "3 days ago". So Friday?

"On Monday is was UR2 12/20/16, then on Monday I went ur3 missed the accept wave Tuesday and thought I was dead man walking. Ended up getting in today."

I think there will be a trickle of acceptances/remaining dings through the week, and then all the WL on the same day. Look at last year's pattern.

That was Thursday. There were a couple people who got in then.

I don't know that because that's my Reddit throwaway or anything

How long does it normally take to hear about Merit Scholly? Just submitted my app yesterday. If I don't get anything, I will withdraw. So, there's something y'all can wait for
