So NYU's financial aid portion of the ASW says that you need to fill out the need access form... but that form isn't going to be available for 2017-18. Has anyone realized this yet / asked ? If so, do we just need to fill out FAFSA this year.

Just got accepted via phone call! Applied basically on Halloween so I was super shocked to hear back so soon.

where does it say the form won't be available for 17-18? this is what I'm seeing:

Entering first year JD students applying for NYU Law institutional scholarships (need-based and merit-based) are required to submit financial information using the Need Access application. To apply online, visit Access Group's Web site. If you have questions about completing or submitting the application, you are encouraged to contact Access Group at (800) 334-0540, (302) 447-4000, or NeedAccess@accessgroup.org.

There have been so many acceptances today I know I shouldn't worry but my heart is so set on NYU and has been for years, I just want to know

We suggest that you check your school’s website or contact the school’s financial aid office to learn whether your school will require an alternate application, and when it will be available.

Oh I see in order to see that Notice you have to click on "Students Click Here" or whatever. Anyway, yes, this is strange...

Oh I see in order to see that Notice you have to click on "Students Click Here" or whatever. Anyway, yes, this is strange...

I haven't seen anyone else notice that yet and Columbia says you need to do this application too, soooooo maybe they'll eventually realize? Odd that no one in admissions realized that.

Yeah I went DLS this morning before trying the accepted students website.

How many people have gotten in from UR2? When did you go UR?

I got UR2 with literally no chance of admittance, so take UR2 with a grain of salt.
