Perhaps a case of sufficient but not necessary, eh?govlife wrote:Yeah, I'm sure it's not necessary, but considering I'm not a shoo-in, I'm hoping it meant it got set aside after a first look and now they're giving it a closer review.taxman14 wrote:For what it's worth, I never went UR2 and went straight to accepted. Same here--had been UR1 since 10/4, now UR2 as of today. Was beginning to feel like they forgot about me...katthegreat11 wrote:UR 2 as of today! UR1 was 10/4. What does UR2 mean really? Is it a good sign or just a meaningless status change?

Exact same UR dates as you, similar numbers--super relieved someone else is in the same boat! No, they have only had one major wave of acceptances, and no denials yet.brinicolec wrote:Have we figured out an avg. time for submission to acceptance/denial yet?

Ur 2 is a date change after going under review on the status checker- you are still under review but the date after it changesVapidP wrote:Sorry if this has been asked before, but does application under review mean UR1? What would UR2 look like?

So there haven't been any denials or waitlists yet, correct? So if we go DLS (which I have not yet), we're probably in?

Submitted yesterday and already under review Maybe I'm jinxing myself for a long wait but the quick turnaround was exciting haha. Especially when other apps I submitted a week ago are still incomplete...

Submitted ten days ago, went UR two days after submitting, still UR, no changes. I think NYU is just quick about UR1.Leliana wrote:Submitted yesterday and already under review Maybe I'm jinxing myself for a long wait but the quick turnaround was exciting haha.
