Well, we can wait till Tuesday (it seems to be tomorrow) and see if that will be the case. But I don't think the polls are that indicative, since people who have chosen the "no" options usually don't go back and change their answers after getting accepted. It is questionable if they revisit this thread even, since I don't really visit the Applicants threads for schools that already gave me a firm answer (rejection or acceptance).

It's not likely you're anything yet. Given that this cycle has been slower than previous ones there may still be some more acceptances going out. We won't know until they start sending out WL invites. Until then, don't count yourself out!

Point is it's futile to ask this when none of us know and it's been a clusterfuck cycle lol. Looking through a couple pages of this thread should make that evident.

I just got an invite for an admitted students event....but I haven't been admitted. Wtf NYU.

wouldn't that maybe mean that you guys are in, or at least waitlisted? like come on, how does it mistakenly happen that a group of people with no decisions yet gets an accepted student even email?
