Anything from nice jeans/nice shirt up to business casual should be fine. Gym shorts and a t-shirt might make you feel underdressed and anything above business casual is probably over dressed.

Continuing to take advantage of my local school's recruitment dinners/cocktails tomorrow; networking with Alumni can never hurt though. I should probably withdraw soon...

^ I feel you. I'm down to two schools basically and I will probably just end up withdrawing on the deposit deadlines (or even double deposit just to buy more time).
I'll end up fucking one over but I just don't know what to do.

Feeling the same as the above as well. I wish I could be one of those people who don't think about the debt weighing over their head. It must be nice.

Feeling the same way about my undergrad. I just can't force myself to withdraw the app. I love the university and they have a great law school, but I'm ready for a new experience.

I've been struggling with the same thing but I was given a better financial aid offer to my target school so I was finally able to withdraw from my safety yesterday. Had I not received the Bette Rodger, though, I would still be in their list. I don't see any reason not to wait until the deposit deadline if you're not 100% sure. After that, I personally not wouldn't wait because I'm cheap but as long as the schools don't have rules against double depositing than you shouldn't feel bad or anything

Edit: on that note, how has everyone responded to the "thanks for the withdrawal note. Where are you going instead?" Email? Objectively there doesnt seem to be a good reason not to respond but I feel weird about it for some reason

I'm in the same place with my hometown (a state flagship.) It owns the state legal market, and I have extensive connections in the legal field there, but it would also probably mean spending the rest of my professional career in my home state. Still, a full ride, modest stipend, and the chance to be a big fish in a small pond is a hard offer to turn down.

Whats the dress code for ladies at ASW's. Specifically, is athleisure alright? Or should we aim to dress up a bit more.

If you know, I'd just tell them.
It's for research purposes.

Off-topic: how in the world did Catholic University manage to snag the law.edu domain?

You can easily dress up yogas with some boots and a nice shirt. I think that would totally be fine.

As Chicago just put it "The dress code is casual, but keep in mind you will be meeting faculty and administrators."

So I aimed for whatever would make me feel not embarrassed around professors that were all wearing slacks or jeans and button downs. Which was jeans, semi-decent boots, and a cardigan.

Fwiw, one of the days I definitely wore some leggings and a shirt with a cardigan then later changed into my alma mater's shirt because it was game day... lol

I wore a terry long sleeve, black pants, and my common projects.

My decision is all but made. It feels good to not have to debate what school to go to.

Ugh idk how I feel about this.
On one hand, faster grading.
On the other, I can't imagine doing a lot of the LSAT without being able to physically write on the exam.
Maybe they will still give us the physical exam to mark up but instead of fucking with a scantron we just submit online?

A lot of standardized tests will allow for scratch paper to be used.

I think that they'd probably still allow for scrap paper since they already do that. I love to eliminate answers by crossing them off on the page though and I can't imagine what it would be like trying to remember the choices i'd already crossed off in my head.

Kind of wish I was still studying b/c this seems like a great way to get some prep while making an easy $100

Yeah the biggest hurdle will be RC I think.

I also cross off every wrong answer as I go so a tablet/computer would really mess up my groove.
