I was under the impression that NW interviewed all of their admitted students. I would assume not interviewing would hurt your chancesZVBXRPL wrote:Anyone here opt out of NW interview? Dont think Ill attend if I got in. Applied to see what theyll give me...wrote a why x
I've just been refreshing the pages of schools I care about and sorting their "applicants" tab by $$$. Dunno if there's an easier way or not.call-me-bubbles wrote:Sorry to distract from the cake/pie debate (still undecided), but does anyone know if there's a way to search LSN by scholarship updates? Obviously it wouldn't be a reliable source, but it would be nice to just get a sense of when other users are getting offers and what the "going rate" looks like for this cycle. There's gotta be some sort of search feature that's easier than going through users' profiles manually to see if they've entered in scholarship information.
even if your intent is to use them as a bargaining chip, why wouldn't you submit the best application you can in order to maximize your chances/scholarship?ZVBXRPL wrote:Anyone here opt out of NW interview? Dont think Ill attend if I got in. Applied to see what theyll give me...wrote a why x

Wonder if I should bring it to an interview if I ever had the chance to interview there? You knew my name 25 years ago!

Applied around Halloween-time. Currently studying for the MCATs and applying to Med Schools to see if I can hear back from them quicker.RParadela wrote:Ugh. Another day of no movement. Not sure how you people who applied back in October without hearing anything back are handling it.

Probably T14. But any top regional school carries some prestige for sure. BC, Vandy, UT, UCLA, etcThomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Where do y'all think is the cutoff to be labeled a "top law school?"

I see you really like BC haha not sure if it belongs with the others you listed (I see BC more in line with Fordham) but still a great school!RParadela wrote:Probably T14. For me personally, if I see someone get admitted anywhere in the top 20, I consider them to be going to a top law school. This is probably due to my own personal experience. People at my undergrad tend to score in the 150s and go to TT state schools, so when someone says they're attending UT, Vandy, Wash U - I consider them to be going to a top school because I'm comparing it to the rest of my peers.Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Where do y'all think is the cutoff to be labeled a "top law school?"

I mean.. Look at BCs BigLaw + fed clerkship numbers.. Not very different from GULC honestlyThomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:I see you really like BC haha not sure if it belongs with the others you listed (I see BC more in line with Fordham) but still a great school!RParadela wrote:Probably T14.
