How is your cycle going? Are you interested in moving to bigger city? The main school of choice for me now is in a big city with a lot to do outside of study.

Yeah, from Kansas and most likely gonna move to a coast - accepted into schools on both east and west with enough $$ to make it feasible...I like my current setup but I'm (and SO) is ready for more. Happy with the cycle though - accepted into T20 schools and waitlisted at 2/5 T14 so far but will most likely attend a T25 with good $$ and parental support so I'll be in a good place.

Yes, FAFSA takes like ten minutes if you have your and your parents returns. Now, the CSS PROFILE takes many hours to complete and you need more than just the returns. That should be started as soon as you can if schools require it.

+1 They changed the FAFSA rules to use the previous year so that people didn't have to wait until taxes are filed. Go find your 2015 return and get it submitted.

For FAFSA...how should I handle schools I applied to but haven't heard back from yet? Is it okay to add them now or will that confuse them? The FAFSA form says the school gets my info. Am I able to add them later?

Will it in any way hurt our chances if they see our FAFSA and see that we may need more aid than another student. In other words, if we haven't heard back yet and add said school, could they use that information against us?
