I too am wondering if this thing worth the drive to DC

I went to one in DC and it was a total zoo. Hundreds of people, long lines to talk up / shout over the din at T14 reps. Good place to pick up some viewbooks and stat sheets if that's helpful. I was also able to set up an interview with an admissions dean from WUSTL before the event, so if you need to do any interviews you might be able to schedule them with reps that are there.

Thanks!

Yeah idk how helpful that sounds. An attorney told me thought it was really helpful for her in meeting schools n stuff, but with that many people that's, maybe a bit hard.

At the very least it's not a terrible way to use an afternoon, but the supply of administration staff vs. demand of DC 0Ls is way askew. If you do go, go early and hit your target schools first thing.

There's no UCLA thread so I'm complaining here. The max length for UCLA's personal statement is two pages in twelve-point font. It is a draconian limit made by a donkey-brained man.

Hello everybody! I have a question regarding LSAT score cancellation. I took the LSAT in June and scored slightly lower than my practice tests, but well within the medians of a lot of schools I'm looking at. I then wanted to retake it (since the general consensus is every point matters). However, I got sick before the test, and while sitting for it had eally bad coughing fits throughout, . In light of this, I'm sure I didn't do as well. Would cancelling this score be looked at negatively? It would be my only cancellation, and I don't think I would retake.

Do I need to write an addendum/should I be concerned? Or do I let the first score stand?

Should we put a header (name, lsac number - resume) on our resume as well? Or only on personal statements, addendums?

Life or death question, I know

I'm also interested in knowing how a cancellation is looked upon by admissions departments.

How difficult would it be to find data on the law school makeup of law firms in Texas? For instance, where percentage of students that currently work for V/E in Texas come from UT or T14s?

go to google

search "Above the Law [firm name]"

Click the proper link

check the "top schools by headcount"

I did not.

A) your name should be at the top in big ass font anyway

B) it should be immediately apparent that it is a resume

C) having a header that matched the rest of my attachments made the resume look weird.

I headed my attachments to indicate quickly when it became a new document. Since it's super obvious that your resume is not part of your ps/why x/addendum I'd skip the header
