It's just rubbery air though. Idgi

OK but get some fresh quality sliced bread, spread a little pesto on it, add a slice of fresh mozzarella. Top with basil or sun-dried tomatoes, if desired.
It changed my life forever.

But you're just tasting the other stuff.
I guess mozzarella is good if you really love the texture and need the texture to complement the other food, but idk :?

Mozzarella has a definite taste. It is salty a tiny bit sour and very creamy.

Hmm I'll have to try again. I've really only had it with other things with stronger flavors like chandhi described.
It was in my Blue Apron kale salad the other day.

I'll get one of those bags of it suspended in the jar of cold water and chomp down on it at the register.
Will live blog my thoughts.

I used to work in the cafe of a joint cafe-cheese shoppe.
I didn't know it was it's own thing since everyone just called it mozzarella.
I should really go to a cheese tasting (and wine obviously) with actual labels of what everything is.

dropped a word there, sorry-- I meant how do you feel about burrata? I don't like most cheeses, actually, but am a big fan of properly dressed mozz and burrata

I love all cheese. I'm from Wisconsin. It's actually a law there to love cheese.

Feta, mozzarella, burrata, cheddar, gouda, provolone, chevre...you name it, I'll eat it. *heart eye emoji*

Try burrata. It's a special mozzarella with a soft center and it's heavenly
