Harvard, Michigan (Darrow), UVA (Dillard), potentially Chicago depending on aid. Waiting for YS which would change things.

Oh well. The cycle will be over soon enough lol.
I thought NYU was the kinder, gentler version of Columbia?!
Well, they ain't going to NYU
I don't trust anyone that consistently deletes their posts. If you feel the need to delete what you say, you probably shouldn't be saying it in the first place.
My favorite thing is that they deleted their posts but like all of their posts were quoted by other people so it's still all in the thread
I delete all of my posts, even before that NYU thread. I leave what I post up until the conversation ends and it is no longer relevant. Whatever is important to future applicants is usually quoted.

As to the rest
I promise nothing you said during that exchange was important to future applicants lol.

Guys, I just booked a vacation for next month. Best thing I've done for my psyche since I started studying for the LSAT.

Is this really necessary? They had a disagreement over admission philosophy. It happens, let's drop it.

NYU (if I get one of the named scholarships then my decision is made), UChicago (depedent on aid and/or a lowball from NYU), and my imaginary Stanford acceptance.

Meh, there's a difference between a disagreement and mockery but okay lol. I honestly don't care either way, I found the behavior childish, but if someone quotes me... do I not then have a right to respond?

Someone told me that this waiter class is super petty and hateful via PM too.

Shine some light on this, wikileaks.

My understanding is that the mockery is a response, although that certainly escalated the situation. As for the right to respond, I think that, within the context of this forum, you have a right to say many things. That doesn't mean doing so is always the most prudent course of action. Tensions are running high, it's just that point in the cycle. Let's try to ameliorate some of that when we can. Who wants to propose a new topic of discussion?

Why fight amongst ourselves? Let's unite and concentrate our vitriol upon on our real enemies - those dogs that post on r/LSAT

I'm not taking a dog in this fight, but I totally get deleting posts. The fact is you gotta keep your profile clean, you don't want to give someone the wrong impression or have old things you said on the internet find some way to damage you in the eyes of someone else before they even meet you. There are some people on these boards who will probably go on to do very public things with there lives and I'm not going to begrudge them wanting to scrub things that could possibly damage them.

Speaking of dogs and the LSAT...after one particularly bad practice test in the course of my studying for the exam, I got so upset I told my husband I wished I could have our dog attack the creators of the LSAT  Luckily for them, he'd more likely snuggle them to death than do any harm...

R/lawschooladmissions is the group we should hate.

R/LSAT is too dead to even deserve our ire
