pinot noir
cabernet sauvignon
malbec
brunello
barolo
barbaresco
& netflix.
Whenever I hear Pinot noir now I always start singing PEENO NOIR, mid-sized car, caviar!

Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants
Today I got my first Ding (and second) from Harvard and Berkeley respectively. Harvard I was just waiting for the hammer to drop. Berkeley I had a little more hope for since I was at their 75 for LSAT. But iirc, they tend to be more favorable to reverse splitters, so maybe that's the hang up since I was GPA<<25%.Stylnator wrote:most recent movement is so depressing. WL, WL, WL, Ding.

Still holding out for seven more schools, but only three where I'm at or above the median LSAT.

I've still got 6 schools holding onto my application from 11/30. When they said that I should be prepared to wait seeing as I'm a super splitter, they weren't kidding. Fully expecting dings/WLs from all of them, and that's okay, I just want to know, you know? I want to plan. Meh. Ranting here bc my SO and parents are sick of hearing about it.

Someone a few dozen pages ago said it's the movie every baby boomer recommends when they find out you're going to law school. Couple days after reading that, my boomer dad recommended it to me, which amused me. Still haven't watched it, though.futureellewoods123 wrote:Everyone keeps telling me to watch it lolshotgunheist wrote:Well, The Paper Chase was ridiculously boring.

High five for first dings. Berkeley gave me mine today too. Not unexpected, they seem hostile to splitters.Instrumental wrote:Today I got my first Ding (and second) from Harvard and Berkeley respectively. Harvard I was just waiting for the hammer to drop. I'm holding out for 6 schools, 5 of which I'm at or above 75th for LSAT, but I bet they'll be WLs at best like the rest of the T13 I applied to. 75+ %ile LSAT score got me absolutely nothing so far.

I guess it depends on how strongly you value my dad's taste in movies.brinicolec wrote:So... don't watch The Paper Chase or do watch it? lolSarastro wrote:Someone a few dozen pages ago said it's the movie every baby boomer recommends when they find out you're going to law school. Dude I'm rooting for you hard. Your cycle seems to be the most rough of anyone's I've seen. Hoping you can look back at this cycle and laugh because you are where you want to be.Nightwing wrote:High five for first dings. Berkeley gave me mine today too. Think this that all you want but I don't want to let this just sit here unchecked. PSLF can be gutted anytime, and nearly all school LRAPs are dependent on federal programs.HennessyVSOP wrote: IBR and PAYE and PSLF aren't going anywhere

USC finally got back to me last Friday with a WL- I was surprised that they were holding out a decision alongside my other T10 schools. Best of luck.laqueredup wrote:+2.
