Harvard, Michigan (Darrow), UVA (Dillard), potentially Chicago depending on aid. Waiting for YS which would change things.RParadela wrote:Which schools are you guys deciding between? Interested to see how other people pick and choose.

Guys, I just booked a vacation for next month. Best thing I've done for my psyche since I started studying for the LSAT.

Is this really necessary? They had a disagreement over admission philosophy. It happens, let's drop it.brinicolec wrote:I promise nothing you said during that exchange was important to future applicants lol.potterotter wrote:I delete all of my posts, even before that NYU thread. NYU (if I get one of the named scholarships then my decision is made), UChicago (depedent on aid and/or a lowball from NYU), and my imaginary Stanford acceptance.RParadela wrote:Which schools are you guys deciding between? Interested to see how other people pick and choose.

Meh, there's a difference between a disagreement and mockery but okay lol. I honestly don't care either way, I found the behavior childish, but if someone quotes me... do I not then have a right to respond?Smc1994 wrote:

Re: TLS c/o 2020 Applicants
My understanding is that the mockery is a response, although that certainly escalated the situation. As for the right to respond, I think that, within the context of this forum, you have a right to say many things. That doesn't mean doing so is always the most prudent course of action. Tensions are running high, it's just that point in the cycle. Let's try to ameliorate some of that when we can. Who wants to propose a new topic of discussion?brinicolec wrote:Meh, there's a difference between a disagreement and mockery but okay lol. I'm not taking a dog in this fight, but I totally get deleting posts. The fact is you gotta keep your profile clean, you don't want to give someone the wrong impression or have old things you said on the internet find some way to damage you in the eyes of someone else before they even meet you. There are some people on these boards who will probably go on to do very public things with there lives and I'm not going to begrudge them wanting to scrub things that could possibly damage them.potterotter wrote:I delete all of my posts, even before that NYU thread. Speaking of dogs and the LSAT...after one particularly bad practice test in the course of my studying for the exam, I got so upset I told my husband I wished I could have our dog attack the creators of the LSAT Luckily for them, he'd more likely snuggle them to death than do any harm...R.
