Has anyone else not received an email at all? I wonder if that means I should be expecting a ding via post..

do people on reserve even get rejected? I feel like CLS accepts them or just keeps them in a perpetual limbo on this list. also got on second reserve.
I was wondering the exact same thing!

It's possible I'm conflating two different processes, but I believe that I'd read on previous threads that they reject some people throughout the summer. The letter we received also seems to say as much:
At that time some applicants may be offered admission; some will be notified that Columbia was unable to act favorably on their candidacy this year.

So what does it mean if we didn't receive an email? Is that a good or bad sign?

Not that I'm an expert, but skimming the past threads, it seems that the emails came out in batches (even on different days) in previous years. Don't lose hope yet! I just tend to assume the worst in my situation.

2nd reserve email scared me a little. When I saw the word "decision" in the email preview line, I thought for sure it was a ding.

Is there usually a third reserve? How many reserve batches do they normally have, based on previous threads?

I never actually understood how I made any reserve (Big reverse splitter), but the potential ding by mail seems a little harsh and a waste of postage.

Yup. Third reserves can be strung along all the way until the first day.

RE: Second reserve email. Aside from filling out the linked form, is anyone sending in another LOCI?

Or do you think this email means that they likely haven't even glanced at the previous one(s) on file?

How many people got interview requests instead of the second reserve email? I see only one person on the thread?? It seems like in previous threads it was more than that...

I'm sending another LOCI because it doesn't hurt, but I don't feel very good about my chances.

Came home from my weekend away to a Columbia ding via snail mail. Never received a second reserve email, for those wondering.
Happy with my current position, so actually glad to have a little closure on this long shot.
Best of luck to you all!

Has anyone ever heard of someone who was on the waitlist getting accepted with a Hamilton?

Logically it seems pretty unlikely. But when has logic entered into the Law School admission process.

Looks like two reverse-splitters were pulled off of Reserve yesterday. At least one of them withdrew...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
