How long have most people waited between submitting and a decision?

I had a two week turnaround for a decision, and the scholarship information came two weeks later via regular mail.

Has anyone tried requesting a travel voucher for admitted student's days? I'm from Texas so traveling quite a distance...

Any movement off of either the priority wait list of the regular wait list?

My status was just changed to decision rendered but I haven't gotten an email. They said it may take up to a week, has anyone had it take that long?

I was just contacted from UC Boulder about setting up an interview. I guess they're on the fence about my admission. Has anybody interviewed with them?

I interviewed with an alumni last week. The questions felt pretty standard (e.g. Why Colorado Law, Describe a time of adversity, etc). My application status was updated yesterday, so I am not sure what will happen.hopingcoastal wrote:I was just contacted from UC Boulder about setting up an interview. Can those of you who have been accepted give a bit of information about your stats?
I really have no idea if I am competitive
I applied on the 4th with:
2.3gpa (awful I know) from 2010 at the Naval Academy
165 LSAT (Dec 2015)
Since graduating college I have been in the Marines as an infantry officer and am getting out as a Captain.
Thanks for taking the time!

I am on the priority wait list. I sent in an LOCI two weeks ago. I hope they start considering those on the wait lists soon!

Colorado placed me on the Priority waitlist on 2/4. Any advice on how soon I should send an LOCI, campus visit, and the like? Also, is there a difference between the Priority waitlist, and the regular waitlist?

Hope the interview went well. I'll post if I get same questions. So, what is your feeling, were you interviewed because they were on the fence about your admission? Or because you're likely a good conversationalist? I feel like my numbers aren't too weak, so I'm curious why I've been selected. I doubt its random.merintil wrote:I interviewed with an alumni last week. The questions felt pretty standard (e.g. Why Colorado Law, Describe a time of adversity, etc). Congrats to everyone who is in! Did you all write personal statements that specifically acknowledged their prompt, or just write statements that address the characteristics they mention without saying it overtly?

Not sure what you mean by "specifically acknowledged the prompt". If you mean restated the prompt like they teach you in high school-no. My statement did intrinsically address the prompt, but I really just treated my PS as if it was an interview on paper. I let it convey my voice and experience and how those things would contribute to the law school as a whole. Not sure if that helps, but that's how I approached it, and so far I'm loving this cycle!shineoncrazydiamond wrote:Congrats to everyone who is in! Ok great, that's what I did. Yeah, I meant did you specifically say "I have demonstrated leadership by......etc" which is really not my style- I tried to address it by "showing not telling" and just had a moment of looking back over my app and hoping that was the appropriate approach. Thanks and congratulations on a good cycle so far!Johnson1031 wrote:Not sure what you mean by "specifically acknowledged the prompt". I was accepted and am thinking about attending. Anyone know if Boulder has any local sites (or any fbook pages) that can get law/graduate students linked up for living arrangements?

My admissions email had the link to the FB page at the bottom. It's actually really active and helpful compared to most of the other ones I have been added too.Omeed93 wrote:I was accepted and am thinking about attending. Is anyone still waiting for scholarship info to come in email? I was admitted last week but they said they would email me.

I was admitted last week and my email indicated that it could come via snail mail in the admissions packet or via email. I haven't received either yet.hplover89 wrote:Is anyone still waiting for scholarship info to come in email? I was admitted last week but they said they would email me.

Fair warning, I was admitted via email and they said $ would come in mail - took about a week and a half but it came snail mail.Johnson1031 wrote:I was admitted last week and my email indicated that it could come via snail mail in the admissions packet or via email.
